Following on from an idea in the Indian/Chinese thread, this thread is for comparing everybody's dinner or lunch or breakfast...

Perhaps there should be an official rating system too. Just a pic is not enough. Everyone can give a rating on taste? 1-10 and say the Price too? that way we can compare on an even playing field?

It doesn't look great, but it is one of the best burgers I've ever had, except the one from Fergburger in Queenstown.

also the lettuce looks really green, not like the almost white iceburg lettuce most places use. Green lettuce is always a sign of quality.

I go through phases of trying to cut down on carbs or try to avoid having carbs and protein together... but most of the time IDGAF! :laugh:

Here's something that will make you feel nauseous.. I had macaroni cheese with chip last week.... AND I had a bit of toast with it! :)

very sorry to hear that :hug: when I was younger i went through a stage of not being able to eat properly due to the fear of choking and used to have panic attacks, I became very thin at one point, will hopefully never go back there

oh no doubt but being aware of what you eat, being healthy and having the recommended amount isn't the same as anorexia.
All about balance right, but indeed its a personal choice and it only really (to an extent) effects themselves and people have the right to do that.

Aw Josy :sad: I totally agree with you... theres far too much pressure nowadays to be thin! I'm hoping that since the success of our Olympians this year, more young people start to think that healthy and fit is cool, rather than just skinny and underfed.

Is your sister better now? One of my old friends nearly died from Anorexia when we were younger and although she is much better now.. she still has an obsession with food. She eats enough, but all she talks about is cooking... oh and excersice.

it isn't even a diet. I have literally just been raised on the fact that you dont put like 2 carbs on the plate. Also if you go to any decent (no not as in posh/expensive but not takeaway ish) restaurant they wont have a dish with two types of carbs on a plate. Except a roast maybe and then its only yorkshire pud. It is just the done thing in my whole life?

Major dilemma is what to have with it? Rice? Creamed potatoes? Or big slabs of bread to dunk in the juices.........

tee hee.... I can't say anything: I forgot my greens too....though babycorn, onion, tomatoes were in the dish....... (lame, I know).

Better than that..I forgot to take a pic before I devoured it - with garlic n parsley warm toasted bagette slices. Can see me 'nibbling' on the leftovers the rest of the night.

Got to say Lee - I'm a bit embarrassed at seeing your portion size: mine would have filled the plate. :blush2:

The only pizza I really enjoy is Asda's basic thin n crispy pepperoni - which I then load up with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms and peppers. Amazing taste when it comes out.

Dare I confess that I have square plates, rectangle ones, hexagon ones and ... fook me.... them regular round ones too.
