Although Lucy is not exactly my cup of tea, there is no doubt she is talented at what she does. Trouble is she isn't a teenage boy with a cute face and curly hair, so won't get the votes of the younger viewers. Speakes volumes about the quality of the show.

Okay I get that she wants to do her own thing, but don't enter the X then, maybe the Voice or BGT would have been a better show for her to be on. I feel sorry for anyone who wasted money voting for her, and they should get their money back if she quits....it wouldnt surprise me if the sore throat is just a ruse...as we got no dramatic death bed scenes last week, I think she cant handle the themed weeks personally.

Yes, that is correct. Unless they wanted another four-person final there was always going to be one double, people seem to forget this.

Now we don't have to have one and can have a three person final. So all ends well really.
