Emmerdale will kill off another character this Christmas as murderer Cameron Murray strikes again, Digital Spy can confirm.
Show bosses have lined up an explosive storyline for December which sees Cameron claim a second victim in the village, adding another guilty secret to his already-troubled conscience.
Cameron, played by Dominic Power, killed Carl King in Emmerdale's live episode last month. However, he currently remains a free man as his on-off lover Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is awaiting trial for the murder, wrongly believing that she delivered the fatal blow.
Rumours suggest that Cameron kills again after confessing his guilt to one of the village's residents. Immediately realising that his honesty was a mistake, however, Cameron takes his confidante captive before later ending his or her life.
Show bosses are hoping to keep the identity of Cameron's second victim under wraps until transmission in a must-see episode next month.
As no recent announcements have been made of cast members leaving Emmerdale, speculation will no doubt be rife among fans over who has been given the dramatic exit storyline.

Please be Debbie, Charity, Cain or Zak. Cannot stand their attitude towards Chas when they are no angels either like her.
I have a feeling that Chas will get found guilty at trial and then Cameron does his second killing then the truth will come out!

I have a feeling it is one of...
Alex- He works at the garage with Cain and apparently the Actor is going into panto soon
Jude the Vicar- Perhaps Cameron seeks solace in the Church for his deeds and confesses but Chas gets found not guilty, then Cameron realises he has confessed for nothing and takes the option to kill him?
Dan- To tell him that Chas was innocent, although it would have a big affect on Chas if he died.

Oh dear
Why do soaps have to always bump people off at Christmas... I'd love it if for once they could just have it nice & happy & festive with a bit of drama thrown in for good measure...

It is definitely not
Dan, he is in the ITV spoilers for January 2013.
I think Alex dies though, he moves in Edna soon and her house gets trashed and he worked with Cameron at the garage, plus the character virtually has no links to the village anymore so would not be missed by the viewers.

Friday December 21st
A paranoid Cameron lurks in the village, regretting his confession. He grabs his confidant as they leave their house, panicked they will go to the police. Cameron says that he'll confess to the authorities himself, but knowing his secret is not safe, he decides to take action.
Cameron hits his confidant with a fence post and watches as they slump to the ground unconscious. Cameron is parked up in the woods, agonising over what to do next when he gets a text from Jimmy about Chas's verdict. Later, the villager is tied up in Cameron's van struggling to break free, but it is hopeless…
Bet it's Edna.

Tootsie might be a surprise witness to the event that will lead to Cameron's eventual downfall.

You are right. Notice how Cameron and Alex have started to have more scenes together when they previously did not interact much? TPTB must think that the viewers are stupid...
Alex has no ties to the village anymore and would be a character to easily dispose and is a plot device for the producers to portray Cameron as some deranged killer.
Plus Kurtis Stacey who plays Alex is doing panto now;).

What drives Cameron to confess to one of the villagers in the run-up to Christmas?
"It's a build-up of things! Cameron is not sleeping, he's drinking far too much coffee, he's drinking far too much alcohol and he's wracked with guilt over the whole situation."
How does the villager in question react to Cameron's confession?
"They react as most people would! Cameron definitely doesn't trust that this person is going to keep his secret, because the person he tells really panics about it. Cameron can tell that it probably won't stay a secret unless something is done about the situation…"
So what does Cameron do next?
"Cameron basically hunts that person down. He follows them, he stalks them, and he watches their every move to make sure they're not going to the relevant authorities to report the situation. Cameron then panics and gets to the point where he has to physically restrain that person. That's where he makes the decision of what he has to do next.
"Cameron holds the villager captive in his van for a little while, but then he decides that he should think again and maybe let that person go. However, the person then tries to escape, which is when a chase ensues and the inevitable happens."

Do we see the murder on screen?
"Without giving away too much, the person appears in the woods and you assume that he or she has managed to shake Cameron off. But then Cameron just appears from nowhere and the person is dragged from vision…"
How does Cameron feel after he has killed again?
"He feels terrible! It's a pretty bad experience for him. Disposing of the body is unpleasant. Carl was easy, because his body was found and taken away. So disposing of a cadaver is not a good way to spend Christmas Day.
"As Cameron buries the body, he's very upset and in shock. I think the interesting thing about Cameron is that even though he's been pushed to the brink and is now capable of these things, he still shows a vulnerability which humanises him, as worrying as it is to say! He's fairly upset about the situation and wishes he could turn back time."
Is Cameron confident that he'll get away with this murder?
"No, he's not - he's living from moment to moment. He's just praying that it all works out."
