His never been in the bottom two due to the sob stories and pimp time slots, and fair enough if you like screechy singing and a poor man's Paije Richardson, but I will not allow the judges to swing my opinion on Jahmene because of some trauma he had when he was a child.

Well that was me being generous as those type of acts that are normally better than Jahmene do not take off on The X Factor, so without the sob stories I do think at max Jahmene would have lasted till about week 6, and at worst I think week 4.

James topped the votes tonight though if any year has gone by when the final 3 happens.

Also James has got to the final with no pimp slot, no sob story apart from tonight, not as much limelight given to him as much as Jahmene's been given off the judges, the judges even try and convince James fans not to vote for James Arthur because he'll be more successful after the show but never say the same thing for Jahmene yet his meant to be brilliant so he'll get a recording contract anyway, right?

I really do not get your point. So many people have "sob stories". They do not influence everyone and people can actually be objective and
clear in their choices. Not everyone is so gullible or lets their judgement be clouded by such things.

I'm not saying every Jahmene fan is like that, but I do think the majority of them are as I noticed such a massive surge in his popularity after his first sob story, and his carried it on ever since.

Well I have always liked Jahmene from the start. James too. For me the sob stories don't come into it and I don't suppose I am alone. I don't understand why people have to start slagging others off, when they should get through on their own merit. Just seems like sour grapes to me.

I didn't complain about Jahmene going through the first week, even though he did butcher Imagine imo, but every week since his used sob stories over and over again because he knows that if it was just based on his performances every week he would not be anywhere near the final right now, let alone standing a chance of winning.

As I keep saying. Not everyone is a sucker for a sob story. I think he has performed well over the series and I have based my judgement on that. You were not so impressed with his performances. So be it. Everybody has differing opinions. We cannot all talk for others though as we don't know.

Saying that Jahmene uses sob stories week after week is an outright lie.

You need to stop watching the same few episodes on repeat...

FYI Jahmene's story isn't a sob story, it's his life story - and it takes a chilling cold heartedness to mock and belittle someone who has gone through what he has and still maintain dignity, strong religious beliefs and a determination to help others to not suffer the same fate. Jahmene may be small in stature with a shy persona - but he's a MAN - a real man. Despite his horrible history of abuse and fear, he has triumphed over adversity and is now in the final of the X Factor. Win or lose, he DID it against all odds. What a man!!!
