Rylan coming 3rd in Rylan Style.

Glad in a way he didn't beat UJ in the votes, that'd have annoyed me

Looks like the James/Ella bottom made people realise they have to vote. Chris would have won otherwise.

James went from 13.7% one week to 40.7% the next, can't believe Maloney was actually destroying the vote for so long

Turns out Union J did have more votes than Jade after all as well then

LOL at Chris :D

Lucy wasnt doing as well as I thought.

It was VERY good for James being in the bottom 2 I think. Though if it had been Ella who stayed I think she would have won too. It reminded their fans that they have to actually vote, not just assume others are voting...by the looks of it. Going on his percentage afterwards anyway.

09-12-2012, 11:13 PM
Jahmene was very popular, but it turns out James fans did not start voting for him properly until that controversial week? Complacency?

I liked Ella, although I am glad that James got more votes than her that week:idc:.

Mystic Mock

I think James got lazy and when he hit the bottom two it gave him a kick up the backside to do better performances.

The Baloney support is astonishing. He didn't just top the votes, he walked them. For seven weeks :o wtf. Honestly cannot fathom it. I just...don't get it.

Glad Union J were never bottom when they were in a sing-off, so there can't be any criticism there. They didn't do too badly when they weren't in the bottom two actually which surprises me. Pissed off Baloney was so close to going last week though and they left because of it :bored:

Mystic Mock
10-12-2012, 12:04 AM
I've got to say Jade done well in week 4 considering she was only 0.1% off a boyband that had teenage girls on there side (or should have teenage girls on there side) and it was her worst performance of the series by far.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why not take it to deadlock then? afterall she sang brilliantly while Union J were flatter than a Pancake.

Z
10-12-2012, 12:11 AM
Chris is a bit like Eoghan Quigg - dominated pretty much the entire competition and it was only when a favourite was surprisingly in the bottom two (JLS/James) that the votes changed - meanwhile the one the show was pushing didn't really come into their own until the last couple of weeks (Alexandra/Jahmene), only difference being that James succeeded where JLS didn't. The show tried their absolute hardest to sabotage Chris Maloney, he should be very proud of himself that he soldiered on through it all.

MeMyselfAndI
10-12-2012, 12:49 AM
they were that group of three that did 'some' beatboxing, they were pretty good. I think Louis branded them a 'grown up boy band' & got rid of them in favour of UJ for being too old

MeMyselfAndI

I think it would of been nice to have them, rather than two typical boy bands.

Thanks I think I remember them now.

Imo Union J was also too old to be a boyband, I think one of them was 26 years of age they should have probably been more like Take That or Westlife than One Direction like they was trying to be.

Jahmene was very popular, but it turns out James fans did not start voting for him properly until that controversial week? Complacency?

I liked Ella, although I am glad that James got more votes than her that week:idc:.

Everyone here seems to have missed how the judges and Cowell started pushing and championing James after his bottom 2 placing. They revved him up with such intensity that I think the public fell for the hype. Cowell tweeted that he wanted James to win, Gary said he wanted James to win and Tulisa started mooning over him big time.

His fans just got lazy towards the end which is a shame

Maybe, but that would indicate that Jahmene fans got lazy too seeing he was always in 2nd place and both were way above James for most of the series. I think that people were brainwashed into believing James was going to be the best thing ever to hit the music scene and and fell for it hook line and sinker. He is good, but he isn't THAT good. He's what Cowell wanted, and what Cowell wants, he goes all out to get. His minions do his bidding so well.

Seems that Lucy wouldnt have done well

In the three weeks she performed live, she was above James twice... who went on to win it.

Momentum, plus if she did go B2 shed probably have been saved and people would be more inclined to vote, like what happened exactly to James.
