That James just isn't just the first ever bottom two winner on the UK X Factor, but his the first credible male winner on it aswell.
Do you think he'll do well? or do you think Syco won't be able to handle him and will turn him cheesy? I'm a bit unsure tbh but I think there's a market for him out there if they manage him right.
Dunno about that really, what makes him more credible than Shayne Ward? It's pretty subjective

I think he'll start off badly, but will take control and do much better and sell millions!

I liked Shayne aswell but Louis did turn him into a clown.
I only hope he does amazingly, he's got such great talent. It'll be a massive shame if his talent went to waste

Successful because he's a ready made artist. Most other XF acts have no idea what they want to do and let Syco make all the choices for them.

We don't know if he's credible yet...
We have to see post-show success now.

I think he will be one of the few exceptions to the winner-flopping curse, cause he actually has the talent + he writes his own stuff (so did Matt cardle but he was a one trick pony really, James covers a variety of genres)
Do think he could be a bit of a diva/throw a tantrum if he doesn't get much control over what he releases though
But unlike other winners contestants alot of artists have already said they would collab with him, so it's good signs
He has credibility outside of just being an XF contestant I think

I loved Shayne, my second favourite winner ever. But I really like James aswell, I liked Matt aswell he had a really good voice & his album is nice. My favourite winners now go:
Leona > Shayne > James > Matt/Little Mix > Joe > Alexandra > Leon> Steve

Shayne Ward was a really good singer to be fair.
James though, is very talented and also original, the songs he has sung on X Factor, although they are other artistes songs,he has transformed most of them and sometimes they were near unrecognisable from their original form.
It is that ability to style a song to suit you that will go well for him and so I think he is, as the OP said, the most credible winner of the X Factor and should therefore go on to have long International success.
Really good luck to him.

Which singers does he write for Joey? as that is quite talented of him actually, especially if his wrote songs that I've liked.

Leon wrote Sick Love (Vince Kidd 'The Voice') apparently.

Shayne Ward was a great winner, and his first two albums were really good.
