That's actually the thing they shouldn't be doing, listening to the public is probably the worst thing they could do. Once Speidi go, this series will die a death and some people can't seem to grasp that. It's no surprise that in previous series once the divisive, controversial characters are evicted, and we're left with the middle-of-the-road, fence-sitters that really don't offer much up at all, viewing figures fall.

If that continues, and the public become apathetic towards the show (which they will if it's not interesting to watch), then the axe will fall once again. And there won't be any second chances this time I'm sure. Voters played their part in the demise of Big Brother on C4 last time, and if they're not careful the same will happen again. Why any real fan would actively go out of their way to make the show less interesting and devoid us of numerous talking points which this show thrives on (discussion on forums, on BOTS, at work, in schools etc), I'm really not sure...but it speaks volumes about how supportive of the brand they are.
