In her interview she said she thinks maybe Janine's shelf life is running out. :bawling:

Absolutely. On that interview she did, she said that 'she doesn't want fans to bore of Janine'. She'll probably leave when she realises there's **** all of interest for her, given how incompetent Lorraine and her team are.

Michael's leaving soon as well, so Janine will inevitably be left with nothing to do.

I think there's a good couple of years left in her.

Eastenders is in desperate need of her at the minute with all the crap hanging around and exits coming up.

But I wouldn't blame her if she quit, the show is only interested in the repetition of the same stories for the same characters. Max's musical beds sex life being the worst offender.

To be fair, she hasn't been 'bad' since her exit in early 2004. She was panto and exaggerated when she came back in 2008 and stayed that way until Bryan Kirkwood saved her character (as much as I despised the show under his run). The writing for her still sucked, but at least we got to see the Janine of old, somewhat.

I'd like to see her drop that for a while and just focus on settling in with Scarlet.
