Big Brother is to return as ‘Big Brother: Secrets and Lies’ on Thursday June 13, fronted by new hosts Emma Willis, Rylan Clark and AJ Odudu.
The 14th series of the Endemol-produced reality show will be ‘harder and harsher’ than ever before, according to Channel 5, with housemates being subjected to endless twists and tougher tasks.
Emma Willis replaces Brian Dowling as the show’s main presenter, while X Factor’s Rylan Clark and AJ Odudu will host spin-off series Bit on the Side.
There will also be a new psychology sister show this year – Big Brother’s Bit on the Psyche will see a panel of experts and psychologists analyse the behaviour of the housemates across the week.
The Big Brother house’s design has yet to be unveiled, but is said to have a self-sufficiency and recycling theme.
As always, the housemates’ every move will be recorded, with 27 remote controlled, 12 fixed, five manned and 10 infra-red cameras capturing the action along with a tower cam that will provide sweeping views across the garden.
Clark recently said of his appointment: ‘It was a dream come true to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house this year, let alone win it!
‘Being offered the job to present Big Brother’s Bit on the Side is amazing.’
Series 14 will also see the return of a partial live feed. Two hours of live coverage from the house will air at 7pm every night on 5*.
