Last year 16 entered the house at launch night but there was 17 overall will there be more are less this year ?

I think there should be 20 only if there going to do 2 houses 10 housemates in one house and the other 10 housemates in the other house only if they to 2 house thought if they don't do that then I think there should be the same of last year 16 housemates

I hope there's as many as humanly possible, this decreases the chances of fame-hungry airheads appearing.

Or increases them i guess.

14, enough for 8 evictions, 1/2 walkers and a final 4/5.

10 housemates 10 doors 10 televsions

My thinking is 16 on launch night and 3 entering at the midway point.

10 housemates 10 doors 10 televsions

Only including front ones (since some are attached dishwashers, wardrobes etc) I only count 9 doors, there are 10 televisions though but I don't think that's indicative of anything.

I want there to be 14 - it is the fourteenth series after all, but then have a secret house with 4 others, bringing it up to 18 in total.

Gonna go with the latter, 14 housemates.

Either 16 and 4 entering throughout or 14 entering and 6 entering midway.

Overall, 20 housemates.

THIS. It would be great to see some latecomers (we don't get many on C5) and it would be awesome to bring back the House Next Door/Secret House thing.

Should have two on their own for the first 2-3 days or something. Potential to be great potential to be crap, not to mention they'd probably then get an unfair advantage with the public

yeah this was a rubbish idea ignore me

There have been too many HM's in recent years anything more than 12-14 on launch night is too many and TBH I'm really not sure there is a need for any late comers...

16 is way to many.

drags launch night and with limited live feed gives us hardly anytime to know them so its a waste of possible good characters.

I think the best think to do is put 12 in and and keep another 4 on standby for surprise entries or a twist.

I would like some late entrants this year, they always used to give the series a well needed boost. Other than Jem (I don't count Becky) we haven't had any yet on C5.

I've been asking for this for ages, but everyone on here just disregards it, saying that they 'bring in too much info from the outside world'.

That's why I agreed with Patrick's suggestion of 14 entering on Launch Night (because it's BB14 obvs) and 4 late entrants entering mid-way into like a House Next Door or Halfway House like they did in BB7/BB8. It definitely make the series more interesting when it starts to get dull.

Them bringing in info from the outside world hardly matters anymore anyway when they're being sent out for tasks and letting randomers in for the day

I'd also like another secret house twist, they were overused for a while but it's been years since we've had one...like BB8 I think

Well considering the Launch Show is 1hr 30mins, I'd say 12-14 housemates now.

A LOT! what you don't know about #whatsthesecret is that we on this forum are the housemates and just before the show starts they are going to gas us all then we will all wake up in the new big brother, so all the users here that talk regularly, that's what...20?

They did something similar to that on Big Brother Australia 2003, and it actually turned out to be amazing. There were two houses, and they started out with five people in one house and one in the other, and they added new people every night throughout the first week.
