I love the hype and I end up getting that excited, so when it comes to launch night and the last housemate has entered, I'm like "oh, is that it"

I then spend the first week trying to spot which housemates I love the most.

Going back to the hype, it's reading all the various threads on speculations and hoping desperately to get a sneak preview of the house.

Tbh I'd only want it to be kept secret until launch night if it was guaranteed that the house has completely changed layout, and there is nothing similar to before...because otherwise I'd just be severely disappointed. I do hope the layout has changed this year and all the hype about it does actually come true, I still have a bad feeling though.

Also...this makes me excited to see Emma hosting which I haven't been yet :D

Not releasing pictures would have to be warranted though, it'd be such an anti-climax if they didn't release any pics and the layout changes we've been hearing about aren't at all true and it looks almost the same as the last few houses.

If there wasn't going to be any house pics, I'd be expecting a massive change and a really good house, otherwise it'd just be an overwhelming disappointment.

Well yeah, if it's same old C5 house with just minor changes then might aswell release pictures but if it's totally brand new (like 10 to 11 new) then keep surprise for launch.

I really can't wait to see house pictures, for me it's the best part of the buildup for me before launch night, as for Emma doing a house tour, I really hope she does, I used loved Davina doing on launch night.

Identical yes but they've looked good and I've no issue with them not moving rooms for the sake of it - though to be fair they moved the bathroom and bedroom in between their two seasons and flipped the main living area around.

I think doing a house tour like this would be a great compromise between those that want house pictures and those who want them to wait until launch night... This way we get a general feel of what the house will be like but there is still an element of surprise for the launch...

I am one of those that would like pictures of the house ASAP, but I'm hoping they don't reveal the DR until launch... I liked it better when they waited until the house tour to reveal and it gave us something to talk about until the launch... It also made the house tour special and much more exciting...
