Howdy guys and gals.
I've been encouraged to come on here to say hello and answer any questions.
I appreciate not everyone will want me here, but I have a slow day and will be happy to answer anything honestly and bitchy.xx

We've sat in a room together and played a family board game. I think I was being a bit rude though as Man Utd v Chelsea was on the TV and I was a tad distracted!!x

No. It made us both ill with stress and then we had big issues with the landlord, so eventually we decided to draw a line and move on. Best thing we could've done.x

In all honesty was there much interest in you when you came out of the house and what sort of opportunities were offered.

Not a personal attack just back in the day winners became overnight celebs which isn't the case now.

Did you also know there was no live feed whilst you were in the house?

Ah well that's a shame about the bar but it's understandable, and not everybody can say that they've ran a business :)

In hindsight you were the best housemate in a very very bad series. But at the time your fans completely turned me off you.

It's an odd one. I don't really know as I was fed so much rubbish, without being aware. I kept ebing called to London for meetings about a show, doing other things etc. I soon realised I was wasting my time and called a halt to things. Then the BOTS rubbish happened and I decided I'd had enough of it all and was tired of pretending it's all rosy at BB.
I did have the time of my life in there, but the afterlife was not so good.

I've watched it back a few times. I love a story with a happy ending!!
I thought the editing was poor in places, but equally there are parts where I thought 'I got away with that one!'
The lack of Live Feed totally destroyed it. It became a story as the producers viewed it, meaning that if they missed the start of a story that developed into a big thing later in the day/week, the whole story would be ignored.

I know I'm biased but I think it was a better series than it's credited for. The issue was that the guts of it were removed and taped together to create an impression of the reality. IMO.
Obviously I split opinion in a major way, but in there I just had to get on with things.x

Channel 5 were still finding their feet with the presentation and how the show works so you potentially right.

Alex was the ONLY housemate i found remotely interesting at the time. I just wasnt interested.

With hindsight youve grown on me but at the time i dubbed it the worst victory weve ever had.

But you were humble in your victory and i realised the majority of my frustration was generated towards your unreasonable, loud and obnoxious fans.

I agree with the lack of Live Feed and I hated BOTS treatment towards you.Somehow they always had anti Aaron fans in the audience, it just didn't match the representatives of the show considering you were leading the polls every week on every single poll on the internet to win/save.

I saw you post on DS that Pete Burns apologised to you after that stupid comment on BOTS, which I am happy to hear.

You should have seen what it was like on here during your time in the house! The majority were fans of yours, but there were ongoing rows for 10 weeks about you between the fans and the people who supported the others. But despite Jay coming 2nd, he was never popular anywhere on the internet.

Regrets? Not too sure. I watch it back and think why did you do that and I should've said that.
I do ponder on the final week, with halloween noms and Presentgate, but I was being true to myself and as much as it would have been easier to shut up and cruise to the final night, I had to maintain what I believed in.x

Time has been my friend in dealing with the aftermath.
I'm very self critical, so if one person was negative, it has more impact than a positive opinion.

I remember that was the most spoken about part of the first HL show. Rebeckah was a big fan favourite in the first 3 days. Golden shower :D

Yeah, people who wanted the LF back were pretty annoyed because there was a thread on here and DS about your one-liners, and obviously we would have seen more if we could watch more. After the halfway point (when I am sure the producers were trying to push Alex or Jay to win), they started to panic and started showing less and less of your one-liners to give the others a chance because at the point you won the 5 way eviction is when they started showing less of the positives which was really annoying. It was obvious what they were trying to do!

But you had such a big following that every week you were up, we did the best to not just help you escape eviction, but we always were determined to make you come out with the most votes to save.

I have no idea if she was or not. I felt she was being herself at the time, I don't really follow housemates after they leave the show to know whether that is true or not.

I don;t think any housemate that goes in is 100% their normal selves because it's not a normal environment.

It seemed odd to me but I imagine my relationship with Faye was seen equally odd by them.
Faye and I had the same relationship we would have had outside. We were both falling in love and feeling nervous/happy/emotional. Everything you saw was us being us. I voted for you so much every week! Best housemate ever! I have a question, when you watched it back did the editors change any conversations you had in the house? Like edit them out of context to fit a storyline?

It's too long ago to really remember. There were many conversations shown that made it look like I was just speaking randomly, when the reality was it was being discussed before hand or I was asked a question.
There was a moment after the Burp task was revealed and they showed events out of sync which showed me in a way that didn't happen. Also, I'd often see a small moment of banter between Faye and I played out to seem I or she was moody about it for hours/days which never happened.
Similarly when someone upset me I would remove myself from the situation as I didn't see it fit to shout at someone doing what they felt was ok.

Niamh.

Aaron, what did you think of Fayes mum nominating you and the reasons she gave?

I was nervous in the moments waiting for her to speak. I didn't care so much that I could be up, I just wanted to know that she felt Faye was happy etc.
It wound me up to the point of considering walking. I was being told by Faye's mother and many others that I was playing a game with Faye and using her etc.
This was totally not true. Some people tried to clutch at straws and use it against me, but I knew my intentions were pure, as were hers. When Faye left she defended me and stood by me.
I had a chat with BB and they told me not to forget that I was potentially a danger to others winning and it was natural to try and eliminate the competition. I was upset that I might be seen in this way and was so close to walking. If I'd not been up by that point I would have gone, but the fact people had paid to save me a few times stuck in my head.x

Aaron have you watched back the moment you won at the awesome moment when it zoomed in on Faye celebrating and hugging Harry? That was the best moment of the final. I could see not many HMs pleased, but Faye's reaction was brilliant. Over the moon.

It's great to see how many genuine love affairs the BB house has had, it must be amazing to meet someone special in such an environment.

Interesting... Can I ask another one please? If you could answer I'd be very grateful! Is it claustrophobic in the house? Is it bigger/smaller than it looks on TV?

Aaron I doubt you'll be topped as far as winners go, it was such a superb victory. Do you ever feel annoyed about that money splitting twist?

And when the inevitable moment arrives that C5 say they are having an all-star series, if you were invited back, would you be tempted? (Unlikely I know, C5 weren't the nicest to you)

At the time I didn't feel too annoyed. I guessed that because it was a split between us all and not one person taking a chunk, that hm's were not getting much work off the back of the show. At the time I felt it was right that everyone got something, but soon changed my opinion as I think the winner should get 100k minimum. Even if it was destined for someone else.
I'd read before going in that the prize was going to be increased to 500k, so I was unsure to what was actually happening.

This is an issue. Having watched my series three times now, I try and be objective and watch myself as a viewer. Yes I was annoying, but I ticked so many boxes and took it on a level to create boxes many people didn't think possible. For this reason, Aaron the BB person should be first name on the list.
However, I don't imagine they would invite me and despite an initial backlash people would soon move on and enjoy the people who were invited.
The c4 version omitted many 'great' or big impact characters, so c5 won't have an issue ignoring me.

I guess the real question is 'Would I do it?'

In all honesty, I'd probably do it. Although I think I'd spend too much time worrying about being stitched up via editing etc. Thus not enjoying it.

I am always dubious as to ex housemates posting on forums, but like to give a poster claiming to be an ex housemate the benefit of the doubt, at least for starters. Could it just be that Aaron might not realise that 'This is Big Brother' is shortened to TIBBs, at the time of being asked that question on Twitter is it? After all Salv asked him over here, and even thought it's Aaron.

Still thought u were cute though :P

If any former BB housemates come on here then they should have something under their username once verified by the mods like I noticed they have on DS?
