This. It's branding. Clouds are the brand. For TOWIE it's the purple and silver in the titles, Get Me Put Of Here the trees and green sparkley branding

Clouds arent an odd thing to use

They are ever changing, can be calm, serene and in an instant become dark and threatening.

Theres a lot of thought that goes into designing a brand you know

I think its very unoriginal and is overused.

This is a different ad and I will say whatever I want about it.

That sig you made is what I would have liked to have seen to be honest the eye with a dark mysterious black background.

Anyway, I really like it, the eye looks fantastic, and I love the whole doors coming off thing.

It's a shame the thread turned into another clouds debate. Some like them, some don't, just like with everything else. That's life. Simple.

The graphics are really good. I'm getting a C4 vibe there. Nice to see Channel 5 are learning with their graphics!

The clouds work well in this, even though I'm not fussed on them being used in every series.

Marcus' voice is a bit toned down, but still, it would be more atmospheric with a different voice. Even Emma's voice would sound 10x better.

But that's just me nitpicking, it's getting better though.

If you contrast that, to how C4 used to approach the same scenario, particularly in the very early years, the difference in class, taste and atmosphere is staggering.

There is no C4 vibe at all to be had in that advert as far as i'm concerned.

Just got around to seeing the ad, and surprisingly enough, I don't mind the clouds.

I like the way the doors on the eye sort of explode and Marcus doesn't seem OTT this year. Brilliant.

I didn't even notice the clouds first time round, mainly the exploding spinning doors.
It doesn't look cheapo like some of the older C5 ads.
