no, but it's a team in our region here in holland
Fortuna Sittard, well they are doing not too bad in the second division, with a owner from Egypt, after they were declared nearly bankrupt :(
Looking forward to the Europa League 1st round qualifying draw next week, hoping we get Connahs Quay since it's 5 minutes away from me (probably be played at Wrexham's ground though) or Bala would be another close one for me and the more scenic option
Not as exciting as the first round draw for the Carabao cup this Friday live from Thailand

Something that Purdy would be knee deep in after one WKD

West Ham United currently hold the attendance record for a 1st round qualifying match in the UEFA Europa League era: 34,966.
That record will be obliterated by Rangers FC this coming Thursday, with already 41,000 tickets sold.

Lionel Messi signs a new contract with Barcelona on a massive £450,000 a week.
Which after tax, is about £450,000 a week.
This post could have easily made the joke thread, but I'll let you footie guys have it instead, to tell your friends.

Draw against arguably Marseille's strongest XI and a win against strong Watford XI as well
Think Dorrans had really made a difference in the midfield and Alves in defence as well, just a shame they didn't play in Europe and we had to put up with youth center backs, least things look a bit better now

Only just seen this, also like them because of Fernando Ricksen, classy club

Rented FIFA 18....
It looks like they're using the TV presentation packages for England, Spain, and Germany. There's one for the MLS as well, which is great, but I don't think it's used at all on TV.
I like the second season of the Journey so far as well. Only on the first chapter however.

Klopp is useless no idea what he was doing in that match made so many tactical errors and yet another season without a trophy he has to go Liverpool should be winning trophies not being spare parts in them and the fact he doesnt want a new goalkeeper or better midfielders is very questionable

The fact they allowed a team struggling for goals to put 5 in the back of the net (yes 2 were then disallowed) is disgusting and embarrassing

Tbf before Klopp tookover your team was a wreck, one that could be fixed because of how iconic the team is, but it was still a wreck, it is gonna take probably a couple of more years to fully fix the damage that had been going on down there when people like Hodgson, Delglish, and Rodgers were in charge of the club.

King Gizzard

VAR then
King Gizzard
28-03-2018, 11:00 PM
In principal it’s great but they’re using it too much for decisions that aren’t clear cut and since it’s been introduced goals aren’t the same, everyone sort of hesitates waiting for the go ahead for a while after
It’s sapping a lot of emotion out of the game as the Germans and Italians have warned us (think both countries already have it in their leagues)
Was never going to prove the easy fix that a lot of people said it would and it's still disrupts the game too much imo. I can only see it getting used more and more as well because referees are gonna stop backing themselves on decisions in case VAR might have proven them wrong. It's like in cricket how the Umpire will review every single run out appeal even if it's an obvious decision just because there's a 1% chance they could be wrong
Mystic Mock
10-04-2018, 03:21 PM
I'll say the same on here as what I said on DS.
The best move would be to make VAR like how it is in the Tennis, each team has 3 appeals in each half.
Oh and I just want to say I'm starting to get worried about taking on Bristol City tonight, they've apparently got their best team back.:worry:

Thanks Nicky.:)
I think we'll be going down though as we've got Wolves, Sheffield Utd, Fulham, and our bogey team QPR to face as our last four games.
I think that Monk has done a decent job, it's just ashame that he came in so late into the season.

Big night for the Championship...come on Fulham :cheer2:
Well done to Fulham.
Tbh there's a bit of an agenda as it does help us out if we can get a miracle win somewhere down the road to get past Reading, but Fulham have had a great year and imo should be in the Premier League.
Mystic Mock
11-04-2018, 05:08 AM
If I'm to make a guess this is how I think we'll go in our last four matches.
Wolves (A) Draw
Sheffield Utd (H) Win
QPR (A) Lose
Fulham (H) Lose
Total points - 44 points
If I'm right and Blues do what everyone least expects us to do and not lose to Wolves on Sunday then that is touch and go for us, I really hope that it would be enough.
Also I'll stop posting on this thread now as I've already posted twice back to back, sorry guys.

The Pundits have no idea what they're going on about half of the time.
Looking at the table PSV have shown much more consistency than Ajax, I don't get why Foxsports is praising Ajax more? Going from what you're saying anyway.

Oh and now we've got 3 games left to save ourselves from relegation, and tbf we didn't look that bad yesterday it's just that Wolves are in a totally different league.
If we could just learn to balance our attack and defend ratio a bit better we'd be in with a shot against Sheffield Utd and QPR, admittedly I'm a bit scared of Fulham.

:fc: That I can get rid of the typo that I made on my Custom Status on Saturday by Blues beating QPR and the teams below us losing or drawing and then I can change it from 48th best to 40th best.
Shaun yesterday actually reminded me of the mistake that I made, although for awhile I'm sure there were League One teams that were better than us.:joker:
