It's Big Brother but not as you know it. The classic ingredients for a summer of fun are in place - dramatic individuals vying for popularity while 45 cameras monitor their moves, however the hand of Big Brother will be even tricksier this run.
To help you get to grips with all that's shiny and new, we are doing as musical icon David Bowie advises, and turning to facing the changes. The need-to know facts are...
1 - New nameIf you've read about 'Big Brother: Secrets *Lies' and wondered whether a BB writer has gone rogue adding their own creative subheading, you are wrong. BB14 has been newly baptised.
2 - Suspicious circumstancesThe new 'Secrets *Lies' angle will lead to twists, turns and tough tasks. No one in the House or watching at home should take things at face value. If you want to get into the mood stick on Sherlock and find yourself a Watson. Detective skills are essential.
3 - Green HouseThis House is all about self-sufficiency and recycling. This topical spin may mean that leaving housemates will have a new appreciation of the plight of the planet... or maybe a desire to plunge back into their creature comforts. Who knows eh?
4 - Dowling is dust, enter EmmaThe violet-eyed Brummie beauty is stepping up to host the main show. With her deadpan comic sensitivities and genuine enthusiasm for everything Big Brother, her increased presence will provide an injection of new energy. And fear not Bit on the Side fans, she'll still be a regular presenter on the show where it all began.
5 - Rylan timeCelebrity Big Brother winner, X-Factor star and general public darling, Rylan Clark will be helping with BOTS presenting duties, with a trusty sidekick in the BBC's AJ Odudu.6 - Sunday BOTSRylan will be fronting a new Sunday lunchtime Bit on the Side. With all the meaty gossip you'll be getting from him, the roast will be on the backburner.7 - Bit on the PsycheOh we are really spoiling you with these hilariously-worded spin offs. Bit on the Psych will feature the cream of the psychological community meditating on whats going on beneath the House surface.8 - Livestreaming is back! From 7-9pm every night there will be livestreaming on 5*. All rejoice and be merry!

Definitely think it's Secret Story stuff, right down to the eco house.
The secrets just better be more interesting than a hidden married couple.

Brain has more talent in the tip of his dick than Emma has in her entire uterus.

I think that is a shabby expression to use to describe his going from the show, not particularly professional either.
It is a move they may yet regret too, as I really cannot see Emma being this great tonic injection that BB needs, I doubt she will be able to live up to expectations too.
I will be one of the first to acknowledge the fact if she does carry this off but I do still at this time think she is a wrong choice.

I totally agree with this, he did his best, they appointed him, he was not a presenter so they should have expected that it would take a while to bed into the job. especially throwing a complete novice into live presenting. I just wonder if as someone else suggested it is not all just one big ruse... and he and Emma may be co-presenting.

Most people have said they're happy he has gone. Can you imagine him just popping back up on the launch show?
I wonder if he ever reads forums or ever takes proper notice of his Twitter..

OH Yes he takes notice of twitter, he had a massive argument with Me because I did a poll last year ' Should Brian be replaced with Emma Willis ' he went nuts!
it was Jasmine Lennard's fault she brought it to his attention, was not having a dig just a general poll.
what's with the poor use of the space bar

Umm no. Brian may be funny when he's natural but he has no talent whatsoever

Looool. Someones gonna be giving the app a bad review.
Aww, bit harsh isn't it, he did his best, even if it was c**p. They gave him the job after all, so BB are to blame for not being that good at who they hired, as well as giving us more than a fair share of s**t past housemates. I expect Brian is the one laughing all the way to the bank, with a decentish payoff.

It seems out of character that an official article would slate him like that.
Ive got a horrible feeling Brians still involved.

bit disrespectful of them saying downling is dust, bet he is now peed off if it wasn't before
Let's think logically here guys - there's been far too much going on behind the scenes with Narinda, Emma being congratulated by Davina, the adverts - they've obviously put in the promo that there's a new host to regain viewers - having the whole thing be fake and have Brian mincing his way out the eye on Launch Night would be THE most atupid of moves. Channel 5 might have made some questionable choices but that would be jus plain foolish and detrimental to a programme that is one of their most successful shows ever.

Im literally thinking joint presents.
I can imagine them both walking out of the eye.
Probs wont happen but with the whole lies thing who knows.

Niamh.

While I'd love if those theories were true, I seriously doubt it, they'd never put Brian in such a position to be insulted and laughed at and then expect him to go back in presenting again. Maybe if he was really loved as a presenter they could do something like that but not when so many people were unhappy with the job he was doing
He is a good person but a rubbish presenter

he wasn't bad . he might not of been everybody's cup of tea or right for the show but he wasn't bad. davina seems to have like legend status now she was nice but lets not forget she was awful. silly facial expressions and really bad at interviewing.

Exactly, and the line take nothing at face value that might not just apply to the HMs.
