A member since 2004, Liverpool's Lance is yet another ex-mod who makes the list :wink: He set up the TiBB MySpace account and no doubt helped build strong off-site friendships when that particular website was actually popular :whistle: (I miss MySpace :( ). Lance contributed a great deal to the music section and was a fan of Kelly Clarkson, the Sugababes and various X Factor contestants. He was also a strong BB poster between BB4 and BB7, supporting the likes of Makosi, Michelle and Nadia. He was also a bit of a looker :whistle:

I'm struggling to remember a member who was so regularly a part of TiBB's most amusing and sometimes embarrassing chat-and-games moments :love: Conor joined in 2007 and as a young teen was mostly known for his eccentric posting style (LMAO omg. x), participation in games on-and-off site, and tumultuous friendships with Nicky, Loukas and Sam. He's contributed a hell of a lot of threads and games, mostly about the X Factor and Big Brother, and also creating a few such as Visual Idol. But what Conor will most likely be best known for are his performances in various TiBB games centred around singing. His version of "Hallelujah" was more talked-about on here than Alexandra Burke's, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. He also once tried on hen-night costumes with Christina (http://i43.tinypic.com/25pkcht.jpg). True story.

Joining around the period of Big Brother 3, Boris helped create a sense of community on TiBB by starting essentially the first of our current chat threads: Boris' Bar. She certainly had a unique posting style and referred to other members in weird and archaic terms and that's pretty bloody cool, old chap. She formed incredibly close friendships on the forum and attended the funeral of ROB in 2008, more than four years after she last posted.

OK for such a gameplaying, conniving little **** James sure does make it hard to hate him. So like, the Zeta lot were tight as hell and so Dean, James and I entered this game called 'The Alliance' thinking "haha we've got this in the bag" ONLY FOR HIM TO SELL US BOTH OUT FOR WILDCAT. What a dick. Still, it was a winning move, and he's demonstrating similar skill in winning In Cold Blood IV and The Clique. He's been a part of a winning pub quiz team (Traci Bingham's Swollen Clitoris), but is perhaps best known for running two series of Survivor :love: I'm sure he's run some failier versions too (on research I've discovered 'Majority Rules', which was won by Dezzy, and 'The Candidate', which was won by InOne, but these both looked quite good). Jamlem. The sheppy mess known for obscure alternative music (as well as classical, soul and...polska...) is a very handsome man and I rather think we'll make a lovely married couple one day.

We have to do that, that's so imaginative.
One of the forum's most reliable topics of discussion during my time on TiBB has been wrestling, and up until about 2011 one member dominated in that regard. Ruth, who commonly came into conflict with Amy21 and Sarah. over their love of Cena (I believe she loved Randy Orton), also took part and came very close to winning the first series of the TiBB Apprentice. She joined as Rufus and had a strong number of posts about Eastenders, Celebrity Big Brother and graphics designs. She was just generally a really welcoming and friendly member, posting often in birthday and anniversary threads regardless of the member.

He may have only joined in 2004 and stuck around for just under a year, but that year saw an incredible contribution from the Hooly One to TiBB. I initially intended to put him around the 60s mark, but when I saw the number of threads he created - including some of the most popular used today, like Last Film You Watched?, the TiBB Hotseat, Have You Ever? and The Person Above Me - I'm blown away. Posting roughly 8,000 times in a year when TiBB only really boasted members with 5k max, he made a massive contribution to TiBB, sort of a one-man revolution :love:

You will never guess what just happened. I am in a bit of shock actually.

It involved a resident who lives in my block, knocking on my door, bringing a bottle of wine, when I do not really know him. And he had fishnets on....

Seriously, I couldn't make this up. I was a bit scared.
When I joined in 2007 the off-topic sections (and particularly the music forum) were dominated by Baz. I don't think he's ever changed username, which is excellent because that would be criminal. Baz once started his own music forum called Bazzeroo, which in hindsight makes me believe he was the notorious lesbian hatemonger Bazladoo :o But he introduced me and many other members to some awesome bands and artists. He's also contributed to the TiBB articles and galleries, posted a ton of Big Brother threads and news stories, and continues to provide TiBB with a smart wit six and a half years down the line.

Before there was nicole_burks, there was only one Georgia state hottie on TiBB and that was Rory :dazzler: He's often overlooked and people might question this placing and say it's just because I was good friends with him off-site, but two words: The Mole. He brought TiBB its greatest game of all time and ran two series of it before his outgrowing of the site, and also spawned a similarly riveting game called The Village. He moderated the forum for roughly 2 years before I ruined it all for him by using his account :idc: To his friends, he's best known for his obsession with film and particularly the channel Film4, and once asked me to send him some package from them onto the states :bored: He also had a design shop, compiled every eviction song from BB1 to BB11, and ran the first few annual "TiBB's Song of the year" games. There was also a bit of a forum buzz when he popped up on Big Brother's Little Brother twice (albeit just on the phone) and was treated like **** by that great ball of incompetence called George Lamb :idc:

Hey Guys,

Already explained this half a dozen times but all some people seem to see is the opportunity to have a good ole moan.

Right I have been off the forum for a wee while and have been trying out some functions on the admin panel. So I tried it on some of the what I would call 'less popular' or 'without a greater meaning' lol threads and screwed it up a couple of times until I got it right.

I have not locked all the threads that have been closed this night but have closed one or two in error and hey guess what I even deleted one - so again sorry and for those that are not satisified that I screwed up and apologised 'SUE ME' :xyxwave:
TiBB's original bad-ass bitch moderator :worship: When I joined she pretty much ruled the forum with a whip, and aside from being the most authoritative moderator at the time, was generally a really awesome and funny lady :love: I genuinely would put her in my all-time top ten favourite members :tongue: She was part of a group of friends that I tried my naive best to break at the time - Baz, linda, Stu, Chewy, Dr43%er, Jackie, etc - and I just remember TiBB being really funny and silly at the time... just before 2008 came and factions formed.

He once went under the pseudonym of Fernzy, but 2004's Dan is perhaps best known for creating the series of prediction games on TiBB with variations including football, the music charts and the fantasy football leagues. When I talked to Linda the most on MSN I often felt a bit sorry for James because she used to pester him so often re: her bans and her infractions that it must have been annoying :laugh: TiBB's final standing admin in this countdown tops the trio because of his consistency and activity today, and also appears to be the most cooperative in setting up forums for games, changing names and adding new installations to the forum. He's also the funniest admin, and his practical jokes every April 1 get more and more wacky every year :love: The Pink Floyd and R.E.M. fan also served as Sir Alan during the first two series of TiBB Does the Apprentice, has posted hundreds of TiBB articles, and in true James style I'll be rounding off this post with his most famed catchphrase. Aside from having an at-times appalling taste in music (trying to propagate the careers of James Blunt, Darius and Christopher Maloney), Locke. has dramatically improved since his 2008 self. Introducing the ever-charming WATERS to the forum, he and andy-dale-win trolled the hell out of TiBB and made the mods' time hell :idc: Now, of course, he's best known for kickstarting the wave of Game of Thrones over the forum, winning TiBB Big Brother 3 (but only because I let him, by being inactive :whistle:), hosting Elimination once with some jobber, and uh... some recent... thing...? Chewy doesn't quite fit into either category, but that's not to say his impact's been unnoticed. I would imagine the Films, DVDs and Video Games section would never have taken off without him and his endless gaming threads, and the Silent Hill and Coronation Street fan has contributed so much more elsewhere. He made the first millionth post, if this forum's statistics are to be trusted :suspect: and has made 500 threads this year (June 2012 to now) alone. He used to post with all the hideousness of the 2008 lolcats xD cheezburger!! nonsense, but that doesn't change the fact that Chewy's a bloody lovely chap and has been crucial to TiBB's off-topic activity for 6 years now.

He won TiBB Big Brother 4 despite a sea of controversy over his racist abuse of *Kate*, and then went on to win Most Loved. Most of his activity WOULD APPEAR to be in the music section but I imagine he secretly has a chat thread in TiBB Towers where he types Lionel Richie lyrics one word at a time. OK so for some Ross was at times overbearing and dramatic and kept asking everyone to cam on MSN :nono: but on the forum, aside from all the silly threads, he created one of TiBB's most enduring games: Elimination. He's helped make forum icons and banners for everyone to use (although I don't remember this :suspect:) and served as the very first Mole, but has taken part in so many other games. His love of horror movies and music helped form the necessity for new subforums back in 2008 (when F,D+VGs didn't exist), but mostly he makes the list for ruling Chat and Games between 2008 and 2009.

He created games such as TiBB's Next Top Model - which went on for 5 series under his management - and The TiBB Life, which was won by GypsyGoth, and ran the TV and Film awards at one point. For a long time he was the second highest poster of all time, and was responsible for a huge proportion of the discussion about Big Brother 5, 6 and 7. Joining amidst a sea of love for Preston and Chantelle in that series of Celebrity Big Brother, little did TiBB know that a much more all-consuming and well-known love of Laura's would be making its voice heard soon ;) The maker of TiBB's 2-millionth post, and for a brief time a TiBB moderator, Laura's love of 'the boys' (seriously, if you have to ask who they are, get the **** out) has seen her get in some quite heated and emotional exchanges, but when she's not vehemently pissed off with Mark Owen for cheating she's actually quite the sweetheart :tongue: Pushed off a balcony in In Cold Blood, she makes the list for being one of the forum's biggest all-time identities and there's just no confusing her for anyone else :laugh: She's had some tough times in real life too, but always remained friendly, cooperative and a great poster.

It always pains me whenever I remember her but a quick glance at her profile and the pages and pages of tributes and messages to her since her cruelly untimely passing are extremely soothing. I do wish she'd just had more time, though, because she was a brilliantly funny and kind person.

The maker of TiBB's 3-millionth post is probably best known for this little old gang called the Brotherhood. The Liverpool fan, often adorned with forum signatures of grotesque-looking fast food, had an irreverent sense of humour and, although he occasionally played the wind-up merchant and could be a bit annoying (the "we're straight, we're here, we want our fookin beer" thing was pretty lame), was generally laidback and fun to talk to. His sudden disappearance was noticed, and it wasn't until the next year that we unfortunately informed of his passing. In retrospect, a lot of the friendships held today on the forum are largely thanks to him: although the factional element of 2008-2010 TiBB involved a lot of petty arguments, it also led to strong groups forming and, although I can't speak for everyone, I'm thankful for it.

The sad thing about life is that as the years go by, we all lose people we care about, and life really isn't fair.

Despite your numbness now, you will, in a while, start to remember him and smile about some of the good times you had together. I'm sure that'd what he would want.

Perhaps the cruellest thing of all is that life DOES go on. We learn that none of us are immortal, and that no matter how much we hurt, the world keeps turning.

The fact that a member can be so admired and have her posts so revered that she earns herself her own separate subforum should really explain just why Romantic Old Bird was so loved. Her stories about her favourite BB2 housemates - Helen and Paul - were sweet, funny, creative and inspired, and earned her much respect and friends along the way. As a moderator she showed her witty and caring sides, prompting various political action (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26782) and creating tonnes of threads with jokes (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3026). She also secured a few exclusive interviews with some of the early series' Housemates for the forum, along with Amy IIRC. It's such a shame really that I never had much of a chance to get to know Wendy, because from all of the members who came back and shared their grief and memories, she was truly a great member.

She also holds the record (ignoring announcements) for the thread that's gone the longest as a sticky - in General chat, the Breast Cancer site one :) So she's not all bad-ass bitchery :whistle: it's just... what we most love her for.
