It just refreshes the series and adds a new dimension to it. No idea why people on this forum seem to be against it, its been a tradition in the golden years of Big Brother. Used to be so exciting seeing new faces come out of the car (idk the car just made everything seem so exciting ) and surprise the housemates
Ideally, I'd like 3 new housemates in week 3 and 2 housemates in week 6

I like new housemates - but too many ruin it for me. Like you say no more than 5 new housemates.

I like late entrants too, but if there's 16 housemates on Launch Night and only 9 weeks, it would be pretty hard to have so many housemates unless they have pointless double evictions every week, which ruins the show for me.

Yeah they should have 12 housemates at launch night imo.

iv never been a fan of new housemates unless a housemate walks then i think they should definitely be replaced
I like new hm's too, I think it would be ok to put them in up until say week 4 but not so sure about week 6, thats a bit too late imo.

I'd be less against them putting new housemates in if they didn't choose such bores who float until the end.

Yeah I wish they'd start putting newbies in again, I used to love getting a new set of 5 in week 4 or 5 (BB7 HND ), obviously with a 13 week series it didn't matter 5 weeks in cause there was still two months to go but now you'd be half way through.
Four newbies in week 3 or 4 would do.

Newbies annoy me unless its for someone walking I don't mind one or two but when it gets like 6 or 7 at once unless theres only 10 housemates on launch night

The only C5 newbies we've had are Jem and Becky, :yuk:
If they chose some decent ones, I'm all for it (although Anthony would have been good if the public weren't ****ing morons)

New housemates were always one of my favorite aspects of Big Brother  If there's gonna be 16 HMs this year they can at least put 2 in week 3 or 4.

They never put in 6 or 7 at once :suspect: the most they've done is 5 in BB7, BB8, and BB10.

I agree bringing them half way into a series doesn't do them any good or the older housemates cause they end up voting them out anyway. That's the one good thing about BB on C5 they haven't gone crazy with throwing in New housemates. Plus it ruins the dynamic in the house for me.
