New Big Brother host Emma Willis wants this year's housemates to suffer I don’t want them to have parties. It’s a £100,000 top prize – they should have to work for it. It shouldn’t be easy

NEW Big Brother host Emma Willis wants this year to be nasty, and for the housemates to suffer for their fun.

The sexy star, 37, reckons bosses have been too soft in previous years and says contestants should have to earn treats.

Popular Emma has been promoted from host of spin-off Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and will present the main show this year, which starts tomorrow. And she wants Big Brother to give the housemates hell.

“The show started out as a social experiment, and it was how people worked together and interacted,” says Emma.

“It is a game show, so you always have to have that element of sneakiness and naughtiness.

I don't know if I want it to be just a nasty house but I do hope that punishments become real punishments and not the pathetic dealings we have had for major rule breaks in recent series.

Punishments like taking away success in tasks and leaving them with a basic budget but then giving them takeaways and all else most nights does defeat the object.
Nastiness always naturally develops anyway as no way would any mix of housemates be able to get on all the time confined to one building and having to interract with each other.

Yes I want to see a luxury budget nowhere near the ridiculous £500 they have got recently.

Basic rations should mean rice and chickpeas.

Punishments should mean actual warnings.

The hot water should only be on for 1 hour per day.

No hair straighteners.

No contact with the outside world at all and that also means people not coming in for tasks the only humans they should see for the 10 weeks is each other.

No tampering with noms.

Marcus needs to tone it down and the editing needs to go back to basics.

The crowd need to be controlled aswell and Emma should do the announcement from inside the closed eye or even the BOTS studio then she literally could say "im coming to get you" and jump in a golf buggy lol.

I agree with pretty much all of these apart from the bolded ones.

I don't think punishments should mean warnings, I think they give out warnings far too easily these days and punishment should mean just that, maybe put in the jail cell thing or if it's discussing noms then stop them from nominating and things like that, I don't think official warnings should be handed out unless it's extreme rule breaks.

I prefer the presenter standing outside when they do the announcements.

Nah I much prefer the announcements done from inside. So the housemates have absolutely no idea of what the public think about them until they are out..I seriously hate the chants every week, and the massive boos for anyone who isnt the crowd fave.

That's pretty much my thoughts as well. I want Big Brother to be evil not the housemates. Drama is fine, but the Alexandra's and Connors...hell no.

I think a mix of that would be good. BB5 I think was a bit too serious in the way BB addressed them, but BB8 was way too light.

BB3 had the right mix. It was serious, but BB did crack me up a few times. For example, when Alex had to ask for paracetamol after straining too much in the toilet, BB's reaction was priceless (and you could hear them all laughing behind the camera).

I don't mind like utter bellends who want to cause arguments over jam or stuff, but if there was like a bunch of Lisa' and Karley/Charlie/Kris gangs who are just horrid is just really uncomfortable viewing.
