Has it kicked in yet, has it hit that most of our summers are about to be consumed?

Let's be honest - it isn't gonna take over any one's Summer.

Can we drop that cliche? BUT - the realisation kicked in earlier on  I can't wait.

Yes, it's not like it's suddenly hit us, we've been counting down for two and a half weeks .

I am so ready now, have been for a couple of weeks, just hope we aren't let down.

Well for me - I didn't really care that much, surprisingly. Then yesterday when I looked at that 3D Tour, it really pumped me up and now I can't wait.

Speak for yourself then because as sad as it is, a huge chunk of my summer will hopefully be devoted to BB, much like last year.

I'd guessed as much from the way you somehow managed to be online when things broke, but only realise they had and comment on them (usually negatively) days later .
Then yesterday when I looked at that 3D Tour, it really pumped me up and now I can't wait.
I was excited when we learned about the two part launch, then lost that excitement with the clouds returned, then regained it when we saw the first pic of the garden in The Star. I've been pumped about it since, especially, as you mention, when we saw the 3D tour.

How on earth are you going to devote a summer to Big Brother when there's no live feed? It's impossible to do.

2005, 2006, 2008 and 2010 - those years, my whole summer revolved around Big Brother. Why? Because I was glued to the red button feed the whole way through.

As much as I would of loved last year to be like that with BB13, it was impossible - and it's going to be impossible again this year with two hours of live streaming.

It's not all about the live feed, it's getting involved and posting plus the 4 hours of BB related programming daily.

Being able to check in at any time of the day I am bored was cool. Plus the feed meant we saw/heard about everything that went on and not just what they wanted us to see.

But anyone who wants to watch Big Brother 24 hours a day needs some sort of life. And this coming from me.

I can't think of anything worse than being glued to live feed. So tedious.

I used to dip in for half an hour here and there when it used to be on e4 when something interesting was happening but 90% of it was bloody dull.
