Twins are not that popular. If they don't go this week it will be next week. They're far too nasty to be saved.
Hope your right I can't wait to see the back of them

agreed. I know people seem to be ruling gina out from going but I actually think she stands a high chance. the support means nothing at times like these and it's all down to the hate.

Huge change!!!
To be Evicted
Jackie - 4/7
Callum - 7/4
Jack & Joe - 9
Dexter - 25
Gina - 66
Gina is definitely worth £10!
The twins odds have dropped massively, as has Gina's. Callum's have shortened so much! I still think Callum is the safest

You do realize there's also Dexter fans voting Gina. It doesn't matter, it's just a small amoutn of people. For God's sake we have to get the twins out, I think there's not many more chances of them being up. I'd be happy with Jackie but I definitely prefer Jack & Joe out.

Odds shortening (blue) means that more money is being put on it and is therefore more likely to happen. Odds drifting (red) means less money is being bet on that outcome so the chances of it happening are seemingly less likely.

I would point out that novelties (big brother, x factor etc.) are notoriously unpredictable for bookies odds. The reason for this is that the voting demographic (mainly teenagers, mainly female) is vastly different from the betting demographic (mainly male, 18-30 as teens can't, are aren't supposed to, bet). There have been some major "surorises" in betting for things like this... for example, I got 8/1 on Aaron to win on the week of the final. He was 3rd in the betting and -never- went favourite throughout the show. I also got a decent 7/2 on Little Mix in the x factor 2 years ago.
Vote to Evict is also dodgy betting territory as people will steer clear of betting on people who are "popular" - but being popular doesn't mean they won't get votes to evict... a popular character who divides opinion will always get more votes to evict than a bore, but the betting odds rarely reflect that.
No real bores up this week though, I suppose... a pooled vote on Jackie or Callum would see them off... but, a split vote between those two and the twins could easily see Gina or Dexter out. I do reckon it will be Jackie personally, but a cheeky £2 each on Dex and Gina would be a decent punt. As would a tenner on Callum or Twins. Jackie isnt worth betting on at this point.

Jackie v. Twins really. If the odds are shortening on the Twins, that's a good sign they may actually be booted. But there's quite a gap still between them and Jackie.

I am too, and he's complained too much for a while. I hate that Sophie blatantly tells people that she isn't going to nominate them and that they better not nominate her, ever. She also seems intent on coasting to the end and dragging the twins with her and she has nasty acidic tendencies, and started being friendly to Gina only after the tennis ball announcing that Gina was a fave to win. Sophie = unpleasant wallpaper IMO. I don't hate her but I don't like that she was ever a fave to win the series and think she's not entertaining at all.

Although i would kinda' like Dan to go because he gets on my nerves i think it could be a better 'shake the house up' result if Sophie went!
They all think she's a cert to win and so nice (little do they know she's not!). Maybe they would start nominating differently and not making such incorrect assumptions about how 'WE' (the public) must feel about people. I somehow doubt it though. They still don't get that Dexter is loved out here!

Hmm, well we have seen it happen once before with Vanessa (BB6). Although she was pitted against Makosi in the final showdown she actually polled more votes than her so would have gone anyway. But usually, it doesn't happen.

The only change is that back in BB6 people actually used to watch the show. IDK I never thought Sophie's popularity (or even Sam's to a lesser degree tbh) was as secure as people assume it is, I don't think Dan's necessarily toast this week.

How I see it, I like when a HM I like have a rival in there because it keeps them entertaining in the show. Which is why I wanted Hazel to stay for Gina's benefit and why I want Dan to stay for Dexter (also because he is entertaining me MUCH more than Sam and Sophie).
With rivals gone, they could just disappear in the background. Without Charlie, Callum and Dan, Dexter won't have any story whatsoever.

This. Especially if people continue targetting him. This time in 2008, Rachel was still at odds of 20/1 approximately and then pulled off the victory against favourites Mikey, Kathreya and Rex so all is possible. Let's go Coach

At roughly the same point in the series these were the odds for BB8 and BB9. Forgot how BB8 had most housemates so far from the running and not close at all.

No, at roughly the same point of the series would be around the 20th-23rd of July in 2008, considering that's about when this time was (BB9 started on the 5th of June 2008, so even earlier actually). But on the 23rd of July 2008 these were the odds:

And then from around the 23rd onwards, Rachel's odds started to shorten day by day. I see this potentially happening with Callum too with about 4 weeks to go is it? Plus, Callum and Rachel are similar in storylines.. 'too nice', fake VT's, getting targetted by the other HM's etc.

Too many other people there to compare with, more competition for airtime. You need to base it on how roughly how many are left.
Yeah but you also need to consider how many were in there to begin with. BB9 had 21 housemates in total whereas this series only had 14 (considering Michael wasn't even a real housemate).
And i'm not saying Callum's going to win, i'm just saying don't rule him out too quickly. The Brits love the underdog story!

Well, all I'm saying is at this stage in the game (with less than a month to go) it has never happened before that a housemate with odds like his as they are has gone on to win. Hence why I posted all the odds at this stage (above) in past BB's. The lowest odds of a winner was Josie at 6/1 and that was a weird situation because of that quadruple eviction mess.

I feel like callum would definitely be worth a bet. I can see his odds shortening soon as he gets more airtime.

Jack telling Sam to bring the noise and be louder, while gesturing at his ear, can't be good for the twins.

I wasn't talking about the eviction odds. He's risen in the overall 'to win' odds over the last week by a significant amount and he's now back in third place overall with better odds than he's ever had so clearly he is more popular than he's ever been.

Looks very likely that sam will be taking over as fave again soon. Also it looks set to be a three horse race for the winner unless something dramatic happens or one of them is evicted before the final.

Gina 1
Sam 6/5
Dexter 8/1
Sophie 25/1

As i said before if your a betting man you would get the most return from Dexter to win as he is a steal at 8/1, Dexter has the most chance of winning from this stage as he is timing his run perfectly.

I agree and if Dexter survives the next eviction i think he'll topple Gina in most polls and on DS .

With vote to win, it's hard to predict.

Gina, Dexter, Hazel, Charlie, Dan, Callum, Wolfie... << these are the people who have contributed to the series and made it as good as it is. I don't personally like all of them, but these are the people who deserve to win. Whether it's his fault or not, Sam has barely made an appearance in any of the highlights and this series would be exactly the same if he wasn't included. Nothing would have changed. So, why should he win Big Brother... an ENTERTAINMENT reality show? The idea that someone could move into a house for 8 weeks, sit around doing nothing then walk out with £100,000 is crazy to me, but that's just my opinion.
I've said the same thing in another thread but it applies in this one too. I just don't get it. If this was Deal or No Deal or one of those other tv competitions then I would have no problem if he walked off with the money, but it's not.

The things is Dexter and Gina fans will vote repeatedly for them to win. Most of Sam's votes will come from causal fans. Those who watch big brother once a week on average. Sam will probably have more people voting for him, but Dexter and Gina fans will make up for that because their fans are more passionate.

Sleepy Sam? :nono: No, UK. He'd be a better winner than the twins, granted, but c'mon, you can do better than "not the worst possible option".
Does Gina or Dexter need to be out for their fans to unite to vote for the survivor? :(

Funnily enough the bookies are quite misleading. Dexter is least favourite in the odds to go even though the twins and Sophie are quite clearly safer than him (and Charlie imo), and he just so happens to have the best to win odds also.
