Housemates know about the 'Secret and Lies' theme

Just been watching last night's BBOTS (AJ is horrific) and when they showed how the housemates were settling in, one of the housemates clearly said in a chanty sort of way 'Secrets and Lies'.

Now, maybe I'm being stupid, and maybe I'm wrong in thinking that they shouldn't know the theme? But surely if they know the theme, especially the name, then they know what to expect?

Doesn't make sense, why would they let them know about the theme? They probably all have guessed that one of the housemates is a lie.
