The `Evict Vote` poll on this website?? confused.com....

Why is there a poll on this website saying `were channel 5 right to bring back the evict vote`
But they haven't have they ?? :conf:
I thought there was voting this weekend to choose the nominees, then voting opens to `save your fave` out of the 3 nominees.

BB would never be stupid enough to bring back negative voting...

Originally they said on their FAQ that it was a vote to evict, but then they removed that from their website, so I presume they have reverted back to vote to save.

No need to worry I don't think.

And all of you people saying "Yes they have, this is gonna ruin everything" etc. well actually they haven't confirmed or denied anything, so we'll just have to wait and see.

That poll was posted the other day when channel 5 still had vote to evict on the official website, they have since taken it down though.

The thing that worries me is if the nom vote is a phone vote as opposed to online (as I'm pretty sure it is), that is in effect a vote to evict and I really don't know what the producers are playing at cause they know what kind of result it's going to lead to. And that leads me to think they are bringing vote to evict back because otherwise they wouldn't dare try this, it's too risky.

Yeah, that thought occurred to me. Why have a vote to evict twice in one week, unless the housemates decide on Friday who goes.

The only other thing I can see is that they do a vote to nominate, then a vote to save and they make it so the people's muppet then has to "decide who to evict" by naming whoever we didn't want to save.

I don't want vote to evict. I hope this three nominations can be a norm and this year each housemate nominates 3 and 3 are up minimum, that would help keep the larger charcters in a vote to save. These little things can drastically change a series.

it does look to me, having just visited digitalspy, that what was written on the website about 'evict voting' was either done in error and removed, OR was actually going to be the case, the producers realised there was uproar, and changed it back, therefore removing it from the site.
either way it was probably a storm in a teacup and the voting is going to stay the same as it always has on channel 5 . (which is the only decent thing they have done since the channel took over imo!)
