Could all the housemates lifestyle/stories be a lie..?..

..there have been a few contradictions in things reported about some of the housemates, it's difficult to know who they really are..we've been told that Michael is a mole and an actor but do you think the 'lies' bit could be that the housemates background stories might not be what they say they are..?...

I definitely think there are more secrets, the whole secrets and lies theme will be a but if a let down if its just the mole IMO, and I like the thought that some of them are kept from the viewers too.

Most of what Dexter says is a lie. The £121 receipt was a stunt to get himself and the casino in the papers (that's his profession as a publicist, getting stories in the papers). His "secret" that he gambled a million pounds and lost was another self-serving lie to embellish his wealth. I don't think he has any intention of revealing any of that, though. He's just a con-man.

I could see Gina being poor. She behaves like a stripper like Charley BB8, rather than a girl with a privileged background. Contrary to what some poor people might think, wealthy people don't generally go around sneering at people who can't afford what they have. She reminds me of a guy on BB5US who pretended he was an NFL football player and bragged about owning an Escalade with "black headlight and taillight covers" (he was actually a $30k/yr labourer). People who can afford such things don't feel the need to brag about them.

The rest of them are exactly as described as far as I can tell.

I agree Dexter and Gina don't really ring true, Also Jackie and Charlie, are they really mother and daugher, any of it could be lies really. Maybe Wolfie has come out of an enclosed order Convent for 9 weeks.

There are also news articles of Gina on the Internet so unless they have planted all them I think she is who she says she is.

maybe there isn't any more lies or secrets, and Channel Five has overdone the publicity and not bothered about the actual content..the longer this goes on the more I'm starting to believe that is the case.

The only one I'm slightly sceptical of is Gina, but I don't think that's actually supposed to be a lie but that she herself has greatly exaggerated her wealth and lifestyle to get her media attention

..I don't refuse to believe it in that I know people much younger than me but who look much older because they have used sunbeds/sunbathed to extremes etc over long periods of time..to me Jackie looks good but more like her age or similar to people I know of that age, but when Jemima entered the house some people said she looked great for a 41yr old and I just don't get that..she doesn't at all, but she does work out and her body is very trim though..

Interesting to compare their appearances on launch night with them on eviction night especially if they have been in the house for 8 weeks or more. The biggest change in the majority of HM is their weight as they all seem to eat more and exercise less which is understandable in the House as there is not much to do but eat and nowhere to go to exercise.

Also being couped up in there for some time allows all the highlights and tints to grow out so their natural hair colour become visible. Also as they invariably do not eat a healthly diet some housemates over indulge in sugar and this can be seen in their skin tone and complexion.

So all in all it must be hard to try and keep fit and healthy in that environment and even harder to lie about ones age...!!!!
