she dominates the LF, she dominates the HL's...but is she really worth saving? It's a fine line between suffocating the program and making it entertaining. I'm not convinced she's all that entertaining really.

She is the sacrifice the house demanded
Dexter and Gina must stay

She's stifling not entertaining. I think she'd be happy being out in a few weeks. I get the feeling she wouldn't like to stay in there for the full time.

Her and Gina have pretty much created all the talking points so far, so um...yeah.

I want to see a lot more of the others and it is time BB made sure a fair balance of editing is done with so many housemates.
I wouldn't though at this point like to see Sallie out.

She is way to heavy/overbearing as a personality and makes me cringe every time she's on, which is practically every clip in the show. 100% prefer Gina and Dexter for controversy.

last nights LF was abysmal and focused solely on Sallie caking on the slap..awful viewing if that's what we're going to get, could be best to get rid now.

See I disagree with this and I know all about the entertainment opinions and agree to a certain extent so I don't think theres any need to turn this thread into another of those debates but in all honesty I think they have only created a majority of the talking points so far because they are dominating the entire show, you only have to check last nights LF to see that, it was wasted on Sallie and she wasnt even doing anything apart from applying make up, there is definitely hm's in there with bigger characters than what we have been shown so far but they are being stifled by Sallie constantly talking over them, making herself the focal point atm.

Give it a few weeks and I reckon people will turn on Sallie. I can see Jackie/Dan being the one to lead that (if Gina is evicted).

Totally agree with you Josy, I'm getting fed up with her already, your so right about last nights LF, it was all about her.. I want to see more of the other HM's, I hope it doesn't turn into the Sallie show.

No because she is a self centred boring slapper.

I explained why she (and Gina) are dominating the highlights in a post I made in another thread. It's not some favouritism conspiracy by the editors (and I criticise the editing of this show at the best of times), if a housemate or housemates are taking up much of the highlights it's simply because they are the ones providing the most interesting, entertaining and discussion provoking footage. For that to stop the other housemates need to step up to the plate.

I agree this makes sense to me,
If you could make a graph and pencil in her entertaining scenes vs her total air time, it probably wouldn't be all that great proportionately. Gina for example has had very little airtime but has caused a lot of entertainment.

I don't think anyone could really fairly argue that up to this point at least, it has been the Sallie Show...and it's almost as if now the main show's ended we're starting to watch the repeats :bored:

I read that post you linked to but I'm sorry Jack I still disagree, you honestly think what Sallie was doing on LF yesterday was entertaining or even discussion provoking? there were other conversations going on in there that we would have preferred to be watching for the limited time we had.

She needs to go, there's a difference between being loud and being entertaining.

Yes, most of what I remember of yesterday's live feed was Michael talking to Sallie...and that's the reason she was focused on. Michael is getting as much airtime on the feed as Sallie is. It was discussion provoking yesterday because all the housemates had just watched him in the diary room and had started getting suspicious of him and then he cleverly (as I wrote a post about in the live feed discussion thread) went over to Sallie and 'admitted' that he'd spoke about her behind her back in the diary room. As I explained in the post I alluded to this was a clever move because it made her think he's more genuine because he was being upfront and honest about it, and that it wasn't an act in the diary room...he genuinely meant what he said but felt sorry for it. Obviously he knew they'd watched him but he tried to divert their suspicions by making it seem like his character was upset, he even said 'I don't feel like myself' and 'this isn't the real me', which basically makes Sallie think that it was out of character because he's this nice guy but stops her thinking it was an act.
That's why she was focused on, cause all that had happened and Michael went over to explain it because there was the potential that he could be rumbled this early on. I'd be surprised if it didn't make the highlights tonight actually. But yeah, that's the reason she got the airtime...cause Michael was talking to her. I'm glad they showed that, when I turned the feed on I was hoping for some fallout of the Michael diary room thing, and that's what I got. Much prefer to see him trying to weasel out of what could've been a disastrous situation than seeing Hazel talk about modelling.
Don't get me wrong, I like the normal conversations housemates have on live feed too, it's part of the reason I've always supported the feed. But when you're only getting an hour the people in charge of it are going to be focusing on those who are still creating the most talking points within that hour as if it's another highlights show, don't forget they're chasing ratings. If we had it 24/7 it'd be a different matter.

I voted yes, but I think Gina needs saving more than her. It's clear that all of the other housemates either like Sallie or are intimidated by her, so they won't cause any arguments with her, but because Gina is isolated from the group, they are likely to confront her more as the repercussions with their fellow housemates won't be as bad.

I'm not fussed. I like her, I find her entertaining but I want to see the other characters. I don't like the argument that she's carrying the show. Get rid of her and others will come to the front. Her monopoly on airtime does not mean she IS the show.

No. She is as disposable as her male fans Kleenex's.
