View Full Version : Vote to SAVE is just as flawed early on

Tbh Vote to Save is just as flawed as Vote to evict in the early stages, and this is why i believe there should simply be no evictions in the early weeks
For example last year we had pretty much the same setup in the week 1 eviction: Conor was largely deemed as boring, against Victoria and Lydia, two females who had caused arguments and were viewed as entertaining
They still ended up being completely destroyed in the vote by Conor...
So i just think safe would not have made a difference...
No idea who will go this weeek.. just an absolute shame that Callum/Twins will float on by for a long time :l

Yeah last year's first week eviction is the best argument against vote to save, so is Shrek vs. Shievonne.
Besides that, it worked out for the Shannon twins and Speidi which was appreciated.

Nah, Lydia would have instantly gone with vote to evict last year, least she showed potential and was great in the extra 3/4 weeks she was in for.

The reason Connor stayed is because the stupid teeny bops that vote considered him hot.
Dexter doesn't have that factor.

Tbf, not many HMs will match Conor's following.

Which is why they should've actually listened to fans and do what most of us have been asking and give us a minimum of three nominees each week with a vote to save, that usually cements a bore going...with the exception of the Conor week which was bizarre.
Instead they've done what most fans DON'T want. Nice way to treat your viewers there, C5.
They should be looking into the nominations process and ways to stop big characters going up in the first place, not ensuring that big characters ARE going to go. They haven't got a clue.

Dexter doesn't have that factor.
But he isn't though. I'm so confused.

It still makes more sense you being able to support the housemates you actually like.

Oh i'm not disputing that, i definitely much prefer Vote to Save, and i'm annoyed Evict is back, but i just think both are flawed early on and there is no need for evictions :)

VTS wouldnt work in this case because of the Wednesday freeze so

Victoria was going either way that week. It was so obvious that she didn't fit in with everyone else that it wasn't even that entertaining. She became annoying very quickly.
