Michael is leaving friday but not before telling the housemates. He will reveal that he is not an actor but works for the job center, he will then go on to say that there benefits will be stopped with immediate affect.

That's how I solved it, I looked at Daniel's previous movie roles on IMDB and noticed that movie, and it all fell into place.
