What would you have done if a fly landed on you and Wolfy told you to speak to it?

I would have swatted the fly tbh can't be doing with insects landing on me

Ask the fly what it can teach me definitely.

The answer? Thats its a cheeky ****ing fly ignoring my question.

At least the fly is on her intellectual level.

Tell her to drop the bull**** act, tell her you can't speak to a fly, and swat it.

I'm not sure, this is all part of her religion, and it's just as magical and made up as the rest of them.

I think I would have laughed nervously.

Normally I would brush the fly off but I may have humoured her for a time.

Wolfy is a bit of a disappointment at the moment for me,I had high hopes that she would be really entertaining

I couldn't cope with all the animal stuff, honestly.

I can't believe Dan bought into it though... but then again was he just being polite instead of laughing at her or walking away?

Jords
19-06-2013, 11:32 PM
It did make me laugh when Dan was like "Oh I feel a bit weird"

Hmm

Thinking about it I would have gone along with her and when she asked what the fly was saying to me I would have told her...

"It told me to stay away from you..."

Oh hang on there's more

"It also asked me to tell you to stay away from all her insect friends and you tobacco & clothes are hidden one of the suitcases"

It wouldn't be on me long enough for her to suggest that.

"You kill my friends. I hate you."

I'd probably just say "no disrespect intended, but I just don't don't believe that this fly is capable of 'telling' me anything",
and then shoo the fly away.

This is the woman who has a shark living in her leg (the left one, I believe) and who is utterly convinced that the Muppet is genuine!

I would have tried to, because she is being nice and there is no harm in doing so.

See, the thing is we'll get to see just how much Wolfie believes in this over the next few days with Michael. She said to him that the fly could see all, and earlie she had been defending Michael to his face. So if she really does think it's all true then she must now think Michael is an actor :joker: **** I love this twist. It's driving them all barmy.

PInternet
20-06-2013, 01:43 AM
Yeah, but the crazier thing is that when the twist is revealed, Wolfy will have an "i-told-you-so" moment where her talking to animals logic is correct.

I would have told her that the fly told me that SHE's an actor. I would love to see her reaction to that.

I'm terrified of wasps/bees/flies/moths/flying insects so it wouldn't have even reached that point, I'd have jumped up and started running around screaming

The only thing I'd have said (shouted) to it tbh would be 'ahhhhhh **** off'

JTM45

I'd have just gone along with it.
She seems like a genuine, caring and good person and her intentions seem all good to me so why not ?

I'd have been far more bothered by someone coming up to me and asking me to join in a 'Pray to the lord' session with them than i would have been with Wolfy's goings-on. I would definitely have declined that one without a second thought. At least the fly was actually real.

I think you've gotta' give her credit for doing her own thing and committing fully to it regardless of what people think. Paganism and Shamanism, although not things i personally partake in, have far better intentions and ideas behind them than the majority of the heinous, destructive, bogus, bullsh*t religions the majority of the World's population sadly follow.

Carry on being your good self Wolfy!

Trying to make herself interesting, it's not working at the moment, if it was a vote to save between Wolfy and the Fly, the Fly would win hands down.

Probably look at her like she was totally mental and ignore her.

Or say 'the fly has just told me to tell you to shut the **** up and stop talking rubbish'

The thing is, though, what he got from listening to the fly, was really what he knew deep down; that Michael is an actor. Obviously Wolfy's idea works. Now about her paranoia about other housemates talking about her behind her back, truth is nobody notices she's even in the house normally. She needs to talk to a few flies herself, I think!

The minute she said you have a friend on your shoulder I would have jumped up and ran around the garden screaming so she would never have even gotten that far to tell me talk to it

It's rollocks this talking to animals, she was moaning how she really wanted meat the other day, does that really fit with the 'earth mother' persona?
She talks to flies and has sharks living in her legs, but when she's hungry slaughter anything coat it in breadcrumbs and suddenly her animal friends become lunch!

That's the second most romantic thing I have ever read on here.

(but wiping one's arse on the pillow is still the first romantic thing)

Firstly I'd have asked her first how she knew the fly was male - she kept referring to it as 'he'. And then I'd have wondered how 'he' could possibly teach me so much. According to Wolfy, flies have been around a lot longer than we have. I'm sure she didn't mean that particular fly, so obviously 'he' has been schooled by his elders. Perhaps there is a fly-library somewhere, or maybe even some kind of complex fly-education system, a place where flies can go and study natural history and anthropology. Said flies can then, presumably, pass down this information through different generations, obviously whilst taking time off from important fly business like hovering around feces, dive-bombing into food and avoiding my shoes and various fly-sprays. I'd be fascinated to hear her answer.
