I've got a feeling this is the last or second to last non celebrity BB so they are just trying to make as much money as possible. They don't care about a good show just making a larger profit with VTE.

I'm not sure it will be `back for good` if this series goes the way I think it will, then i think they will realise the error of there ways.
Plus as you say, when it comes to CBB they need to keep there investments, imagine if we had VTE during the last CBB ? Speidi would of been out within days, a spectacular waste of money for them .

I think VTS only brings in a lot of money when a lot of housemates are up. When its head to head like last years Deana vs Lydia or Shiv vs Connor etc I think the voting turn out is small as most people don't want to vote out a housemate they dislike by positively saving another housemate they dislike. Large numbers of housemates nominated is rare it is usually two up every week and the odd three way so without changing the nomination format (which would require initiative and intelligence that the producers simply don't have anymore) VTS makes less money over an entire series.
