AJ and Rylan : Yay or Nay?

Personally I can't stand either of them. I thought that having Emma host both the main show and BOTS would be bad but tbh I only watched last nights BOTS because Emma was presenting and not them two. I actually can't watch them, they irritate me so much.

So Rylaj : Yay or Nay?

I think the mistake is putting two 'new to the role' presenters in charge. They should have had one pro to one novice.

It reminds me of Fleetwood Mac & Sam Fox on the Brits all those years ago.

if they had any sence at all they would fire them asap, its car crash tv a total annoying mess.
aj is lovely and rylan has his moments but they are totally wrong for bb. they would be better suited to kids tv they would be good for that.

i find it amazing they fired brian got emma then go and ruin bbots with those 2. must be the same guy who is running the mole.

emma is awesome watching her just makes you realize how truely bad rylan and aj are.

I don't know why they think they can just throw anyone in as a host these days.

It's a 'skilled' position, Emma showed this. What makes either AJ or Rylan qualified to even be considered to host a daily talk show? Being on a few reality shows and appearing a few times as a commentator surely isn't it. Sure, sometimes you can get lucky and it could work, but if you're not actually pursuing candidates that are experienced at this particular 'craft', it's a crap shoot. Watching BOTS last night and seeing how naturally Emma pulls it off just confirms AJ & Rylan are in way over their head. Not their fault of course, they're just doing a 'job', but the producers should really have known better imo.

I'm not really sure... AJ is doing alright but does miss the autocue a bit, but she was great when she met Michael she was great and had a lot of enthusiasm. Rylan is good for referencing all the old series, but his 'Wots ya chat babe' annoys the hell out of me, so I'm not sure.

First night we saw him, my wife was convinced they weren't his real teeth.

I can not recall them looking like this or that big when he was in the house.

I like AJ, I like her personality and I'm getting used to her accent. She was terrible the first two shows but she was fine on Bit on the Psych. Rylan however is ghastly. He's such an OTT stereotypical presenter, I have to mute it whenever he's talking. I'd prefer if AJ & Iain hosted it instead, I liked the two of them on BOTP.

Rylan really has gone over the top by copying Russel Brands speech and mannerisms and, Lawdy miss Claudie, wherever did he get the idea that he's invented a marvellous catch phrase. Bruce Forsyth can get away with rubbish catch phrases but Rylan is not, and never will be, an entertainer of Forsyth's stature.

I've watched it once or twice with AJ & Rylan.

I thought AJ was fine, I could understand her and I liked her presenting style. And I even found Rylan to be not as bad as I expected.

I think Rylan has what is called a 'Snap on Smile' on his teeth, as they are bigger & protrude more than his teeth did before. It is cheaper than getting your real teeth done as a mold is taken of your teeth & a one piece plastic veneer is 'snapped' on top of your existing teeth...

He keeps running his tongue across them, like a granny does with false teeth, which suggests they are not his natural teeth, also they are whiter than an eskimo's house :joker:

But as to the original question, can't stand either of them to be honest, which is a shame as I warmed to Rylan as a contestant on CBB after hating him on X Factor...
