after tonight i think he is the most overpowering of all, the way he stands over people who are having a conversation so he can butt in, this argument with jemima and jackie/charlie is ridiculous because it would have completely just blown over if mr Knowitall didnt get involved. i'm so glad Jemima stood up for herself against him because she wasnt getting any backup from anyone else other than Charlie!
Dont get me wrong he's probably a really nice guy but i just wish he would allow people with different personalities and opinions to him to shine and say their piece. its so unfortunate that Gina Dexter and Jemima are up this week :(

I actually think he was fully in the right. I wouldn't have been able to hold my tongue in that situation either.

Jemima is just a knob head who has some issues. Every single conversation we see her have gets turned back on herself. Me, me, me, me, me

I also think Dan is an arsehole but tonight's outburst against Jemima is one of the rare occassions where i agree 100% with what he was saying.

He was correct but it was none of his business. He even took time out to plant himself in the middle of hazel and Charlie's forgiveness hug. I suggest he tries to concentrate on his masculine side for a few days.

im sorry but he is the most irritating person ever. the way he stands over people who are having a conversation so he can butt in, this argument with jemima and jackie/charlie is ridiculous because it would have completely just blown over if mr Knowitall didnt get involved. i really hope he gets evicted asap because he is horrible to watch

Lord knows why he got involved in the first place. I know she didnt die but its still really a precious moment to Jemima. So if she wants to over exaggerating then she can. Dan shouldnt even get involved. He tried to confront her in the bedroom about her bringing the situation up again to charlie when it was infact Charlie who did to say sorry. Made him look like a right mug.

Jem is up for eviction, Dan saw his chance to get rid of the woman who gave him a stupid haircut and he took it.

yes exactly, it wasnt his argument but he had to butt in. more than anything it stops us being able to form a proper opinion on the other housemates because he has to be involved with every*******thing.

Charlie was the one that brought that conversation up and clearly just wanted to talk to jemima, and was obviously not aimed at dan, but as per he butted in and focused the drama on him. ugh hes ruining this series for me

Jemima up, stories come out, children involved, heart strings on full tug mode, mmmmmm, makes me think of sympathy votes but on the other hand, what the f...k has it to do with Mr I wanna control everyone anyway.

Charlie will end up voting her mum out the way she is behaving. Then blame it on not thinking first.

Have you seen the eviction pics used for voting. Dexter and Gina smiling, then Jermaines, They might as well shove a pic of a vagina up on the screen with the amount of lips showing. No guess who BB wants out.

Sorry but although I think Jemima probably did dramatise it a little to 'better' herself Dan was disgusting screaming in her face "YOUR DAUGHTER DIDNT DIE THOUGH!"

Absolutely disgusting I cant stand the arrogant tosspot. I like Jemima for standing up against him.

this is my point, i think he is probably a really nice guy but i wish he'd let people have their own opinions and arguments, it was obviously a big deal for jemima and to basically tell her it wasnt is just out of order completely

Hard to really say "it wasn't his argument" and that he should stay out of it though when Jackie and Jemima were carrying it out in front of everyone, and in that environment you can't really not be effected by every argument, by every change in housemates relations and attitudes towards each other. Dan was entitled to a say on it.

im not disagreeing with you, i think its a matter of opinion on whether who was right etc. but i'm trying to say that i wish he wouldnt overpower every conversation and argument and let people just work things out themselves

I joined Dan's fan club in the very early days cos I instantly warmed to him .

Recently I was going of him a bit because I did not like the way he was shouting people down and I did think he was getting a bit too annoying and argumentative.

However completely agreed with him tonight. Jemima was being a complete and utter fcking twat tonight. I felt like screaming the exact same thing as Dan at the tv."SHE'S NOT DEAD, SHE'S ALIVE COS YOU SAVED HER!" , how she could think that someone being 'clinically' dead for about 60 seconds is in any way comparable to a person really being dead for eternity is beyond me. Dan is absolutely right when he says she tries to make everything about herself.

I really like Dan. He tells it as it is. I hate Jemima. She is so full of her own importance. If Dan wants to contribute to a conversation or give his view on any rows he is entitled to do so. Much better that then be a fecking wallflower like the twins, sophie and daley

I could see Jemima's point that to me it was as equally a traumatic experience for her child to appear to have died, her insistence though of comparing a child arresting for about a minute as to an actual death occuring seemed to be an attempt again to say she had a better, more traumatised event, because it was a child.

In effect an attempt to belittle Jackie's and Charlie's experience of the actual loss of a loved one.
I think Dan could have been quieter in his making of his point but he seems close to Jackie and Jemima was rather all over the place, showing little regard for Jackie's and Charlie's loss.
Considering Jemima actually hadn't had a loss at all yet had chosen to compare the 2 experiences
I actually don't think Jemima did much good to whatever chances she may have had to be saved after tonight.

I would have had to say,(although I would have acknowledged it was frightening experience),but your child didn't die it arrested and was saved,as Dan chose to,I was surprised others didn't.
I doubt I would have been able to keep out of that one myself.

Exactly! Some people would like Dan to just sit there and never utter a word, but they complain when others don't step it up and give us something to talk about.
He is a very entertaining HM, and the show would be poor without him in it.
He is actually a very nice guy. Tonight, he didn't blast Charlie to Hazel, but told her that Charlie wouldn't have meant to upset her. He later tried to calm things down when Jackie and Jemima were having their spat.
He walked away from Jemima in the bedroom after Charlie spoke to jemima about her Mum and he rightly said any mother would want to stick up for her child, but Jemima followed HIM out to the garden and started on him.
He is opinionated, but his opinions are spot on, and he is at heart a peacemaker, with a mischievous side.
I don't see the problem with him at all. I love him.

One of Dan's tactics is to try to deepen divisions between other people. He was crowbarring himself into the conversation to try to convince Charlie that she ought to be more offended by Jemima's comments. When that failed, he stormed off and began campaigning against Jemima to the people in the garden.

He didn't do this with Hazel and Charlie because Hazel is his closest ally.

Well his haircut I think is possibly a revenge act from Jemima, for the past niggles between them, as she cut it.
Why he let her cut his hair I have no idea, even some of the others were cringing.:joker:
