Channel 5 have ****ed us around for too long; axing live feed TWICE, putting it in **** time slots; ****ty editing; MARCUS BBBBBBBBBEEEEEEEEENTTLLLLLLLLY; Brian omg Dowling; Extreme bias; cuntish crowd; sacking Jamie and replacing him with AJ ffs; awful graphics - I could go on.

They don't care about the fans, the people who vote, watch, support and love the show. Channel 4 weren't perfect but at least they cared what WE thought. We all had faith in C5 at the start of the series but for the 7th series in a row they ****ed us over with clouds, not changing the stage and now this. The worst thing is I can't turn off in protest because I still love BB too much but C5 can just **** off. Silly little channel.

Yep, people wanting to crucify Channel 5 should remember that they resurrected the show from the ashes in the first place. Three weeks ago, everyone on here was sending bouquets to the new head of Channel 5. The show itself is fine. Unfortunately not enough people are watching. It's a sad fact that eveyr programme has a lifespan. BB might have outlived its.

I know it's not gonna happen and I'm glad it's at least back in some form but on C4/ITV it would rate better because most people avoid Channel 5 like the plague. ITV and C4 have a bigger default audience, (not as big as it used too be) but C4 are on their arse at the moment. They need a big show tbh and a big relauch would bring in higher viewers than 'Bicurious Me' and other ****e like that they keep putting out.

Channel 5 haven't got a clue. They bring back live feed then axe it. Change the voting to vote to save then switch it back to evict, allow housemates to talk about nominations then ban them again. Camp it up and then bring it back to basis. They have no idea what direction to take the show in. When this happens you know the show has a limited time period.

C5 have done better this year in my opinion

when BB goes off C5 one day in the future it won't be gone forever maybe not as quick as C5 got it but It will come back I am hoping it to go to C4 or BBC not sure about ITV because ITV was the channel that made TOWIE one of the worst shows ever if it went back to C4 it would be great but BBC would be Evan better because of no adverts and they don't make there show's all tacky and they did a reality show and a talent show back in 2003 called pop stars . But I am ok with C5 we still have next year and could be Evan more.

I don't think Channel 4 will ever take Big Brother back to be fair... and I highly, highly, highly doubt that ITV would pick the format up.

If it does get axed again, it will never be picked up by a main broadcaster again I don't think. If it ever gets picked up again, it'll be by a ****ty digital channel...

I just don't think Channel 4 would go back there and ITV is out of the question now I would think.

What I want more than anything is for Big Brother to take a nice, long break. Many positive changes were made for BB14 but, in my opinion, the damage has already been done. I can't see the show recovering if it carries on as it is doing right now. If C5 get rid of it for 5 or so years, maybe even more, people will be more accepting of it and willing to give it another go. The CBB8 launch night ratings prove that with some hype people are going to tune in. Give it a long break and there's a much better chance of the show being a success. Maybe it won't ever go back to the days of 10 million people tuning into the final but I bet it would be more popular than it is right now.

C5 have gotten rid of live feed, awarded a thug 50k, produced dreadful graphics, ***** the ****** out of CBB, turned the show into towie etc etc i could go on all day

The only thing that has really annoyed me is the prize fund, neither Aaron or Luke, the two winners on channel 5, got the prize fund

I actually think in the long run Channel 4 intended to bring back the show. As in, they wanted to let the show go and they probably knew no other channel would bother picking it up - so they knew in 5, 10, 20 years time they could bring it back, revive it and suit it for a modern audience that could be drawn into the concept of it.

I like the analogy someone else posted in another topic that Big Brother is just like Doctor Who. It's a timeless format but has just turned far too away from what it was. Give it a rest and when it comes back it will hit off again and be more popular than ever. Doctor Who is a clear crystal example of how by leaving a show to rest for years, it can prolong the life for the format later on. Doctor Who is now one of the most popular shows on TV, it pulls in millions of viewers and it's fan base has grown expediently.

Channel 5 is driving the civilian show into the ground - and that really will lead to it never ever coming back.

But let's be honest, they can be like that, and yes it does suck for many fans, but that's just how it is, the main sheep viewers of the show simply do not care about the prize fund, or lighting or twists etc, they just want to watch the show and Channel 5 is more catering to that audience, hence the sacking of the live feed, which most casual viewers, would never bother watching even in a good timeslot

Doctor Who is a good comparison. It had been driven into the ground, turned into a camp mess and was pretty much hated and laughed at for years when it became a disaster in the 80's.

It was ended and brought back in an entirely different TV landscape where it's managed to recapture its glory for a modern audience.
