Several of the Big Brother 2013 housemates have started a hunger process over this week’s task!

For the past two days, Jack, Jemima, Jackie, Dexter, Dan, Sam, Sophie and Gina have all been locked up in the Large Task Room after becoming ‘infected’ by a disease as part of this week’s shopping task.

Each of them has had to tackle a task to cure themselves and move back to the main show, but to date only Dan has managed it.

For the others it’s meant a second day inside the Quarantine room, where they must stay and eat Big Brother’s medicine.

But as the latest delivery of the foul looking green liquid was delivered this afternoon, some of the group decided to force Big Brother’s hand by refusing to drink it.

“We need solids,” Jackie declared.

She told the others: “Let’s all not have it, sod it, let’s all just not have it.”

Most were in agreement but Dexter refused, declaring: “I’m wasting away! I need it.”

It's an unbelievably STUPID task.

But it will be edited in the HL show to seem screamingly funny, all 7 minutes of it.

In what way is a task that has high production value and makes then struggle stupid?

Better task than most we have had on Channel 5.

Dexter rebelling against the strike won't help the hate against him.

They should be allowed some basic rations. The other housemates should be made to bring them meals.

Maybe I'm just evil but I like to see them suffer a bit - it is an entertainment show after all and they put themselves up for it so should have realised what happens in the house by now.

I agree, but it's not healthy to eat nothing for two days.

Hi Vanessa - I'm sure BB have made sure their "medicine" contains everything they need to survive - I've been on worse diets in my life :)
