Does anyone else think Charlie and Jackie both over reacted a bit when the hm's in quarantine came outside for some fresh air, Charlie was saying you alright mum you look really ill and frail and Jackie said something about having lost so much weight? you would have thought they had been in there starving for weeks the way they went on :idc:

to be fair lack of sleep and food is used to torture prisoners in war.

I think Jackie was just feeling a bit fragile and seeing Charlie's concern only made her emotional. It seemed genuine to me.

FFS this really annoyed me too, they had to endure that for like a day? and on BOTS theyannounced the drink is actually nothing bad to drink!

:joker::joker::joker:

Lack of sleep, they had been in ther 12 hours and it was durng the day, they wouldn't have been sleeping if they were in the house with the others.

Also they had food..

to be locked in a room for several hours sitting on the floor or hard surface takes some doing at least they did not run out like aaron did in the snow task in bb12

why did bb say they had to spend the night then?
try being locked in a room for 12 hours and I bet you would be feeling down.

They did spend the night but at the point that I was talking about in my op they had been in there around 12 hours..

And no one said you wouldn't feel down but you wouldn't be frail or losing a load of weight either.

Yes but at that point they hadn't stayed the night so there was no lack of sleep.

Nobody's saying it's not difficult being locked in that small room but they'd only been there a few hours and Charlie was acting like her mother was wasting away when she'd only missed 1 or 2 meals and had some rice and other liquid with nutrients in it.

they have been on basic food, if you look at all of them in that task they all looked washed up.

Yeah because they didn't have a chance to have a wash, sort their hair out or put makeup on.

They were acting like they were in a concentration camp. Jackie looked tired and like she needed a wash but she wasn't bloody frail.

They had rice and drinks that were good for them the reason they looked like **** was because none of them had a chance to get organised before being put in there in the morning.

I still think Charlie and Jackie were over reacting..

What?

you don't care how Jackie looked because its not your mother, if it was your mother then maybe you would of showed the same concern as Charlie did, clearly seeing her mum looking fragile was a cause for concern.

plus its a lot less of an over reaction than wolfy did when sallie left.

Can people first not eat properly for a fortnight, then lock themselves in a room with no natural sunlight for at least 6 hours and only eat 2 portions of something you dislike with half a portion of dry rice, then crawl through a 20 foot pipe to go outside.. Crawl back and smile, skip around and make out its the best day of your life. Do this when you are 59, and then you can argue that others overreact.

Because thats what you're complaining about.

Well Jackie can't complain too much about what they've been eating first two weeks when she's in control of the bloody kitchen

I agree with Josy. I think it was over exagerated. Jackie is not a geriatric. She can dance around and is fit as alot of the younger ones. When they sign up for Big Brother they have to be able for the tasks. Frail isnt a word I would associate with Jackie

Jackie did look very haggard, in fact they all did, but they knew what they signed up to, it was good to see a task like this that pushed them physically and mentally, we have been asking for harder tasks for ages and finally we have got one. More please, and yes calling her Mum frail was a bit of an overreaction, she is 59 not 89.
