I just had email back from Ben Frow about the live feed situation
basically he is going to try and get a late night stream but will only be online
his exact words at this moment in time he's not optimistic but he hasn't given up.

But how is it so difficult to not have an online stream, they just need to get off their lazy asses.

For some weird reason anyone who claims they've been emailed by C5 seem to never be able to provide a screenshot..

This is good...

Some of the best stuff happens later at night anyway, generally more lively than 7pm anyway, plus I don't mind an online stream, I can watch it on my tablet, so I'm good either way.

Late night is better anyway, as long as its not TOO late, as in when the HMs are asleep

No I had been in contact with Jeff ford via letters then email
and when Ben frow took over he was aware of the folder sent to Richard desmond and Jeff ford.
it was basically how other BB's around the EU operate and more importantly how they make a profit. it wasn't just all GIVE US FEED NOW etc
I wanted them to see the live feed can work if done correctly
the latest was about BB Bulgaria

they use product placement to the very best not like this joke
HM's wear little logos on the Tshirts (like tennis players)
Coke machines are dotted around the house and eviction area
theres even adverts on the steps leaving the house

But this offers people 2 TV feeds and online feed (all free online)
endemol will be aware how the show is being run there and basically asking them to explore that option it sounds tacky but the show works and more importantly its giving fans feeds

Is Ben Frow the one who changed the voting back to evict ?

Oh and product placement is an amazing idea !

no idea about the vote to evict.
but the product placement is stone age compared to other BB's and personally I think that's the problem.

We see on the live feed all the time Weetabix and other products basically in other BB's anything you see its paid to be seen and used. even washing machines dishwashers even down to mops if it failed then fair enough but its working totally in other BB's and would solve so many problems

No that's best as the email shows there must be something iffy
he's the controller of Channel 5 and talking like that
so it begs the question if online why not 24hr one?
and why the hassle to even get late night feed is money that much of an issue at channel 5?

or is endemol not happy about something

Looking at how things have been since on C5 I would jump to the conclusion it's not simply a matter of there is not enough demand for live feed, or that it's a budgetary issue - there seems to be a fight going on behind the scenes between those with a higher power.

Obviously money does have some impact. But they can hardly blame it on that when they are wasting money on ****ty Facebook apps (it hardly or never works) and Apple apps that probably don't get downloaded. Plus all the money wasted on pointless VTs on BOTS (wtf was that Wimbledon crap about yesterday?!). Social media is not used to its full effect either!

To be fair on Ben Frow though, he has fought for live feed. An online feed I think would work well and is the only viable option left. They just need to advertise it! All they need to do it put it all over social media and they will get the audience.

So far it just seems like those working on the show couldn't care less about live feed. When watching housemates 24/7 used to be a fundamental part of the show!

Ive asked some of the people still with account on DS to ask people to post why they want the feed back.

Im currently updating the information to send to C5 and wondered if people wanted please feel free to post what you feel about no feed and why it should be back.
Even Jeff ford seemed impressed last time we had about 20 pages of feedback

So feel free to post and I will print out

I'm not actually bothered about live feed as I find it boring to watch, however, surely it isn't that hard to set up a 24/7 feed on the Channel 5 website? Even if there was a subscription added to it.

Glad you mentioned that also that seems to be what we are confused about on Twitter now.
what could the hassle be?

I'm guessing it's extremely easy to set up a stream on the BB website, they had it for the first few days running alongside the 7-9pm 5* feed and it was free so it can't cost them much to do it either...
