this series would be a whole lot better if there was no nominations! Reason being... we've lost 2 amazing characters (Sallie and Jemima) and we're bound to lose another one this week and even worse it's vote to EVICT which makes matters a whole lot worse! I think the series would have lots more drama if they just scrapped the noms and put everyone up each week for the vote to SAVE method! Then all the people who cause lots of drama will still be in the house for ages and we'd definately get rid of the bores (Callum,Sophie,Sam,Daley etc.) and the series would be a lot better with a whole public vote! with the noms this year and vote to evict it's pretty obvious the bores will go a long way and the interesting characters will be gone so early this series will be awful! What do you think? Vote on the poll above? and comment your ideas and choice below!

I've always felt the hybrid system used by BB UK is flawed.
Either give the HMs the power to evict with no public involvement or put everyone up every week.
No, nom's are a very important part of our BB and always have been, I know some people think "but we end up with no entertaining hm's left" but it's been said over and over that entertainment is defined differently by everyone and also the hm's are entitled to nominate who they dislike since they are the ones that are potentially in there for 9 weeks and have to live with each other, so I think it's only fair they have a little say in who stays in there with them. For all we know the hm's that some define as entertaining could be complete arseholes for the better part of the days and we just don't see it on the HL shows...

They're an integral part of the format so no. Save and Replace however needs to come back

BB without noms just wouldn't be right. They're a big part of the show and I for one want to keep them.

I don't agree with doing away with noms, having said that if BB is constantly going to be meddling with noms maybe it isn't such a bad idea though now.
I forget who said it but I agreed a while ago that maybe the time has come where housemates go to the diary room and nominate 2 people to be saved from the eviction process, than 3 get saved each week and the rest are up for the eviction vote.

Evictions encourage the dynamics to change, its probably the most important part of why BB works.

Nominations are one of the best parts if BB, & just wouldn't be the same without them.

Not in favour.
The noms play such an integral part to the show.
It leads to all kinds of paranoia, it's the cause of a lot of friction between the housemates and you just know they are going to get caught discussing them.

Taking away the noms would be ridiculous! It would be like removing the Diary Room. Its a massive part of the BB format!
The US version added a twist this year - only the HoH can nominate 2 people as normal, but the public votes for an MVP, and that person makes a 3rd nomination. The public has no direct control over who the 3rd person is, and the house has no idea exactly why that person was chosen as MVP.
They could add something like that as an equalizer - hm's nominate 2, and the top 2 go in, public votes someone to make a guaranteed third, with no indication to the house why they were chosen, and no guarantee they'll put up the one the public wants.

I'd love for them to switch the eviction process around like they did for the first half of Big Brother Australia 2008. Every week the public voted to save and the three with the fewest votes were nominated. Then the rest of the housemates voted to evict one of them, and the nominee with the most votes was evicted. It actually managed to get rid of the boring housemates early on.

Nominations are a big part of BB.
I would like to see a change though, maybe nominate your fave people..positive nominations. Those with the least votes are up. Then the public vote to save.

Do away with noms and public vote and just get rid of the most boring people every week leaving us with the biggest idiot at the end to win:elephant:

Wait a week before the first nominations and evictions.

Ive always found that the production team dont brand the eviction process very well.
They should go down the line of -
"Vote to evict the housemate you find least entertaining"
