...?...hmmm, I think mine was Little Women, but I had a few...I loved Treasure Island as well, but it gave me terror attacks about the Black Spot and I constantly checked the palm of my hand to make sure I didn't have it....

..my boys loved the RL Stine Goosebumps books when they were quite young, I don't know if anyone remembers them...

this one book that i cant remember the name of but it was like a collection of short stories/poems all about witches and it was amazing

It was a book about two rabbits called binkle and flip. I domt even know the name of it it could have been the adventures of binkle and flip maybe.

My uncle bought me a collection of Winnie the Pooh books with matching colouring books when I was very young and I adored them very much. :amazed:

I was a very avid reader when young ,reading at least 3 books a week from the library. My favourites were The Borrowers collection . Also loved the Phantom Tollbooth.

Loads really.. I used to read all the time when I was younger. The Harry Potter books are definitely some of my favourites, and the Alex Rider ones. My Dad read a bunch of Rohl Dahl books to me as well and I remember loving James and the Giant Peach a lot. :love:

aside from the Harry Potter series... erm... I liked Artemis Fowl, and the Alex Rider series...

got to give a mention to the very hungry caterpillar of course.

This thread made me think, I remember a book I was given from my Grandmother, 'The Silver Sword'.
She had owned it for decades.

I was 9 when she gave me it but I got really engrossed in the story and read it over and over.
I still have it,I think I may start to read it again.

From when I first started 'properly' reading I used to love all those Redwall books by Brian Jacques, read my favourite ones of them 2 or 3 times

There was a book I reread a couple of times in my English class when I was about 10, but I don't know what it was called... it was about a pair of African (I think Nigerian) children, brother and sister, who were refugees and came to London, but didn't like their foster family so ran away.

This book that was cartoons of the history of Manchester United, loved it. Forget the name. :(

I loved the books by Roald Dahl, he is a timeless writer for children. I also loved the Capitan Underpants series, was obsessed with those books.

Honestly, I can't remember properly falling in love with a series until I read Harry Potter when I was 7, haha. I read the entire series at least 10 times over. :l

Famous Five adventures, Mallory Towers, Black Beauty, Anne of Green Gables, What Katiedid, What Katiedid next, The Faraway Tree, Narnia books and many more.

I've always been an avid reader.

As a young child I loved Kipper books, then there was Winnie the Pooh, Roald Dahl books, Babysitter Club books and Harry Potter of course.

Famous Five, Secret Seven, The Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley Kids then Sweet Valley High then Sweet Valley Twins (I think it was called this when they went to college)

And also remember reading this one a few times...
