View Full Version : Should Gina and Dexter somehow be exempted from being nommed face to face?

Ok, so I am desperate for Gina, Dexter (and Dan) to get some sort of immunity from nominations as they WILL be up after face to face.
Last week BB revealed how many nominations Jemima, Dexter and Gina received. Dexter knows only 2 people (Calum and Daley) didn't nominate him last week and Gina can work out the 4 people who didn't nominate her last week. They would be able to nominate themselves. BB has 'punished' HMs who have talked nominations by exempting them from being nominated (the idea is that they will feel guilt. Yea, right this is Gina we're talking about, but it would save them and get the other Hms thinking about less obvious Hms to nominate)
So the nominations will not be a shock to Dexter (only the reason). It would be fantastic if easy targets Dexter, Gina (and less probably Dan) received immunity. Maybe as an additional 'punishment' for discussing nominations. It would knock loads of HMs lazy nomination strategy of taking the easy option ie Dexter and Gina and force HMs to look elsewhere. This will throw up some unexpected and shock nominations, especially to those who expect to be in final ie Wolfy, Charlie and twins.
Otherwise I can predict Gina, Dexter and Dan will definitely be up each week till we are left with Sam, Calum, Daley, Sophie, Jackie and twins

They cant change the rules for those two but I agree its inevitable they're gonna be up again. I just hope whoever is up against them is evicted so the HM's get it into their heads that its not good tactics to nominate Dexter an Gina. This year has a large number of game players so I hope they get the message.

Because BB will die a death without them. On BBOTs in the days when Dexter and Gina are no longer nominated they STILL discuss them. Sophie, Sam and the twins barely get discussed.

No, they should be up for noms the same as everyone else. The fact that they are still there should tell the other housemates that they should maybe think of nominating someone else that might have a chance of being evicted.

Yeah, they have to be rewarded for discussing nominations!

It would be a punishment - this happened twice in series 6. i think vanessa discussed noms and everyone apart from her went up. i think craig did a similar thing

If you survive an eviction you should be exempt from the next nominations.

The rules should same to everyone. No one should be exempt from nominations, just because they are deemed "entertaining". Same goes for the boring ones.
Punishments should never be made up, they should only come because there is a good reason for it. And they should not be made to protect some of the people over the others, cause thatīs just blatant favouritism.
Rules are rules, and they should be same for everyone. Even if it means that the so called "entertaining" ones leave before the supposed "boring" ones and vice versa.

I agree with this. I hate when bb tries to mess with nominations. however maybe there could be a task during the week that allows somebody to be immune?

no, definitely not, much as I really want them not to be up this week, they are carrying the show atm, but it wouldn't be fair.

If Gina and Dexter are up again then I won't be voting to evict either of them.
They better have someone up against them like the twins or Wolfy.

In fact, just Wolfy...I'd vote a thousand times to banish the fat troll.

I don't think Gina will be up I think Dexter and Dan will be but think someone like wolfy or maybe the twins especially if someone said one of the twins keeps saying they want to go

I talking to my co-worker this afternoon She was saying Dan, Dexter and Gina are already up cause they talking about noms!
I didn't believe, I check on my phone, they only went to Jail
it did make me think, what if big brother actually did that, then the rest of the other house mates would need nom other house mates.
That would have hard and could cause more stir in the house

I wasn't a fan of it in bb11 but I'm starting to wish they had got it again now because it gets boring seeing the same housemates facing eviction all the time.

I think a 'Nominated Twice : Saved Twice = One Week Exempt' rule would be great. It's fair as it's the same for everyone and it prevents the housemates from going for the easy options week after week.
It would also help to dig out the quiet lurkers who just lay low and avoid being nominated.

Omg yes! I was thinking of this they should make housemates who are saved from eviction on Friday immune the following week to stop nominations being repetitive.:D.

Dexter will be fine if he carries on like this. He's playing a blinder and the public like him. He might even get cheered on friday. :amazed:
