View Full Version : Sophie's Potential

I think lately we've seen that Sophie has quite a lot of potential.
Really liked how she confronted Dexter when she disagreed with him. And how she actually had the guts to nominate anyone other than Dexter and Gina. Not many did that.
She's possibly a housemate that will develop with time and become very interesting.

Nope, in the last two shows shes shown how rude, two faced and nasty she is..and shes still got an annoying voice, no one who sounds like her should ever be allowed to win.

Past few shows has shown me shes quite rude and follows the crowd. Disappointed.

I think she's a sweet girl. If I met her in real life I'm sure we'd have a laugh. I also find her very attractive.

Absolute waste of a housemate though.

More potential than Daley, Callum and Sam atleast.

She's a bland, horibble thicko who's just decided to pipe up and jump on the cowardly pick on Dexter bandwagon.
Sadly she's one of those dullards who'll just do nothing and end up in the final because there will always be bigger fish to fry.

Sam for sure. Daley & Callum have been a bit active over the last few days though, maybe they'll surprise us?

Im quite liking Daley, although disappointed in his nominations.

Callum was excellent in nominating Dan, he should just relax and not try to be so nice (although it is a.. um.. nice quality )

I was annoyed at her outburst at dexter, will put it down to nicotine withdrawal. I want her to challenge hazel, funnily enough she is the only one to have made a negative comment to hazel without retracting it or making a grovelling apology for it.

I had high hopes for Sophie but she comes across as a nasty chav.

I think it's ridiculous how some people turn on her because of her confrontation with Dexter. She was right, Dexter was lying. But people are getting way too blind towards him :nono:
There must be a reason why every single housemate says he is a sh*tstirrer, and I think the editing isn't showing everything.

But Dexter wasn't lying!
They were all standing around discussing asking Pigface for a fag. All Dexter said was that he was asking because they'd all been discussing it.
Sophie just went overboard to cover up the fact that she was every bit as guilty of wanting one of Wolfy's fags as Dexter was. Dexter was the only one who had the balls to ask and then they all turned on him (as usual. Dexter the scapegoat!).

She's a boring, boring coward!

I haven't turned on her because of the Dexter thing, I disliked her from the end of week one.

She is a nasty person, you can see by the things she says, how she says things and how she screws up her face (as if shes angry) everytime she speaks.

This latest thing with Dexter is just another example, and another nail in her coffin.

Woah, such vitriol.

:joker:

Let's balance it up a little. I find her very likeable, interesting. She's a slow burner. Just starting to come more to the forefront. They've shown very little of her doing much which has happened with other characters before many times in the house for the early weeks. It's been dominated by Dexter, Wolfy and Gina because they have the strongest 'storylines' so far. Sophie, among others like Daley and Sam, need to develop and they have lots of potential to do so, we are only 2 evictions in.

Personality wise, I'm no fan of Dexter, he's morally reprehensible, but yet I find him one of the most compelling housemates I've seen to date, he's got a lot more to him than that and he should write his lifestory, would be fascinating.

I'm digressing now, back to Sophie. Scratch the surface and watch her emerge. I think there's a lot to come from Miss Lawrence. Why just bash her based on one main incident. It's a pressure cooker environment, designed to bring out the worst in all of them.

Sophie revealed herself to be horrible in that confrontation with Dexter.

They all stood around jonesing for cigarettes, conspiring to get them from Wolfy in any way possible, some even suggesting that they STEAL the cigarettes... he had the decency to go ASK for them... and then she unloads on him?

Maybe she wasn't in full agreement on his approach, but, to twist it around and make it seem like he'd done something horrible? That was just nuts....

Sophie is bland, boring, dull and dumb. But she'll probably coast to the final week because she's perceived as "nice."

But it's not one incident, this is simply the most recent. Her running off to the tree house to report to Wolfy whatever gossip she's picked up. Her delight at telling Dan everything she'd heard about Hazel from the 3 who saw the tapes. She's a wannabe stirrer - all the drive, none of the nerve, so she slinks around sniping at people after she hears it from another group (kind of like what she keeps accusing Dexter of doing).

Typical Essex half wit.

Hasn't got two brain cells to rub together, and is as dumb as a bucket of rocks.

Not surprised she was annoyed at Dexter really, he pretty much went about asking Wolfy for a cigarette in the most tactless way possible
