View Full Version : Dexter warned over 'sexist' language/insulting Sophie
Jake.

Hope this hasn't been posted, it hasn't from what I can see
'Big Brother UK housemate Dexter Koh has been warned over his language in the house.
Dexter in the latest housemate to be hauled in front of Big Brother this series, with Dan getting a warning for threatening Callum earlier in the week.
The former Escort told his friends about some of the various sex acts he got up to, explaining “rodeo-ing” to his housemates: “This is where a guy and a girl have sex and the guy covers the girl with a sheet and loads of men run in the room.
“It’s like a rodeo. Men put sheets over the girl. Loads of men run in and do stuff and wait to see if she notices.”
An unimpressed Daley snapped: “That’s *******ing rape, bruv.”
After being called into the Diary Room, a sheepish Dex returned to tell the others: “I got into trouble.”
Dexter also came under fire for remarking on Sophie Lawrence’s gypsy roots: “You can’t take the caravan park out of the girl.”
A spokesperson for Big Brother and Channel 5 confirmed: “Dexter has been reminded about the use of inappropriate language in the house. He has since apologised.”
Big Brother airs nightly on Channel 5.

He seems to be a man of many talents and this show is allowing him to play out all his yet untried fantasies. I wonder what he will be like if he does win and gain fame and fortune from his so called exploits. Will he live them out in real life.
Where is the proof of this please?

how is this ' rape' if the girl is aware of it bcos it does say the girl has to guess what the guys are doing, it doesn't say anything about them all gang raping her or having sex with her it actually says they run around the room, ppl really need to stop making mountains out of mole hills seriously :nono:

Absolute disgrace.
I know what said may be offensive to some people - but I still think it's a ******ing joke that he even got a warning for it, and as for that thing with Sophie? Do me a favour.
I'm honestly fed up with the amount of politically correct bollocks that's coming from this year's producers. The housemates can't sh*t right without having a warning over their heads.
It's a reality show, I mean for **** sake - there's other shows that are far more explicit nowadays, the way Big Brother use to be.

If a girl is a helpless or has no control over whats happening to her, that's a form of rape.
The girl supposedly had a sheet over her and she wasnt to know different men would come in and do different stuff to her.

I wouldn't label him or anyone else a rapist without proof, and certainly not because the DS implies it, but I have gone off him since he made the 'women are like my accessories' remark. I wanted to like him, and did for quite a while, but there is something sexist and sleazy about him that I personally find off - putting. I think he's a con man who tries to make himself look 'big' and important when really he is coming across to me as just a pathetic little man with an over sized ego.
I admit that he can make for good viewing at times, but no matter how entertaining someone is, I couldn't support them to win if I don't like their basic character.

So you can get a warning for just explaining what's involved in a sexual fantasy that's enjoyed by consenting adults?
I personally find the fantasy/act itself to be quite odd/weird, but whatever, some people might be up for that, who am I (or BB) to judge? I don't see how you can warn someone for just describing/explaining what this (legal) act entails? Makes no sense.
Also, shame on all those (and Daley) playing the rape card. Rape is specific, it's the forced act of sexual endeavors on a party without consent. Dexter doesn't say anything to suggest that this 'act' involves forcing yourself onto another party without consent. BB is really over reaching this year, you can't even have a conversation about 'fringe' kink or sexually adventurist acts without getting a warning.

The article implied that Dexter took part in an act where the girl might not be consenting as various men do things to her 'to see if she notices'.
We don't really know if Dexter said he actually DID take part, but if he did, then a warning was certainly in order, and a severe one at that. If he didn't personally take part, then it wasn't.
I wish BB would show footage of these convo's and warnings and let the viewers actually see exactly what occurred.

and the caravan thing is just beyond sad , they will be watching every word soon then the show becomes just a robot house of people like calum thinking before they speak and never revealing anything.

Meanwhile, you can turn on any other channel and see shows like CSI, Dexter, The Sopranos, Bones, Weeds, Law & Order - which clearly depict scenes of violence, rape, substance abuse, physical abuse, elements of racism, etc.
Dare to have an adult conversation in the BB house about those topics though and you're chances of getting reprimanded are shockingly high.

Not saying he took part, only describing the act. Anyone with internet could do that
''told his friends about some of the various sex acts he got up to''
Would they put it like this if he hadn't? I guess he should get the benefit of the doubt though.

Also for all those quick to label him a rapist, it says nowhere in the article (if you can call it that..) that he actually took place in this. Its like someone describing what a donkey punch is...most people know..but have never done it.

If a girl is a helpless or has no control over whats happening to her, that's a form of rape.
The girl supposedly had a sheet over her and she wasnt to know different men would come in and do different stuff to her.
EXCEPT, if she gave her consent to the alleged sex game then it isn't rape.
The issue is whether others find ths alleged game morally acceptable or not, that's fine. However if you find it unpalatable, then please don't cry rape on behalf of the girl. My view is "live and let live"

Does that article really seem like a legitimate source of factual information? From what I can tell that website is essentially an online based - TV specific - tabloid and gossip blog.
I think it's safe to say that if Dexter actually made comments insinuating he raped someone, the police would be involved, we all know they monitor afterall. Seeing as Dex hasn't been kicked out yet, I think we can chalk that article to exactly what it appears to be, unsubstantiated and outlandish gossip designed to bring traffic to their site.

1) This is the Daily Star were talking about. They always bull**** when it comes to 'Big Bruv'.
2) The bull**** article doesn't actually insinuate that Dexter partook in this, and its not rape anyway of the girl consented to participate in the adult party. This warning hasveen unfairly given to Dexter.
3) The Conor incident last year was serious, he threatened to punch a woman, that's a bit different to an adult party with consent. Conor deserved more than a warning and did not deserve a 50K reward!
4) From what I read in TellyMix, they just copy from other sources, so it might be true, it might not. In this instance, it probably isn't.

Yes. I'm sure Dexter may be kinky, but it's still consenting adults. I see nothing wrong with that.

Where does it say in the article that the girl consented? Can I have the quote please?
People keep saying that she consented, and I must be reading a different article because it clearly says 'to see if she notices'.
I'm not saying Dexter participated, because there is no evidence that he did, but I just wish people would stop making up their own version of something that is written in black and white.

Journalists make stories up
Not 'real' journalists. They investigate and report facts. Those facts and claims are subsequently vetted and validated before anything would ever go to print and hit the mainstream media. This is how legitimate reporting works lol.
These are just tabloid/gossip mags/blogs, they're held to a much lower standard and couldn't be further from actual 'journalism' imo.

But the article implies she doesn't give her consent. You need to read it again.
I think you need to be more specific. the post does not imply, impute, suggest, mention, claim or hint that the girl does not give her consent for this alleged sex game. If a spurious article claims otherwise, then I have no intention of reading it.

also it never said she doesn't consent for this act. You can just as easily interpret it as being described as an act she was consented to

No mention of caravans, or a warning about anything. Quelle surprise. Very much like Dans warning for making Wolfys nose explode...eh? ;)
If its come from the star well....I dont think much needs to be said tbh
I wonder why we never see any of these 'warnings'. Even Dans, what reason could they have not to show it?
I wonder if Scott's sister is still dead, apart from that time she came back to life to do family nominations...

Actually it does imply it, but if some wish to remain deluded that is their choice.
The only aspect of delusion that I can see, is people reading into it what they would like believe they see, and which clearly there is no evidence for what they read, rather than what is actually written. As for the post in question, there is absolutely no ambiguity as to what is being claimed. The girl is not being described as an unwilling participant in this alleged sex game.
It's too easy to try and damn someone with unsubstantiated vitriol and slander, those who do so, should question their own integrity. This is one reason why I wouldn't read hate and filth mongering rags lilke the star.
