my opinion really changed last night, never really loved him but he was okay, but when he was marching round the house saying wolfy is faking it, just made me think he was a complete tw*t...

i bet he couldn't try and eat that with heaving.. and how he has to ruin everything big brother does, and work everything out does he not realize that he is ruining the show by outing everything?

Amazing hm8 ,did you not see how lovely he was with Jackie ?there was only him and Charlie who were concerned for her,a lad any Mum would be proud of , blinkered viewers :bored:

I didn't like him anyway, I doubt my opinion will change for better or worse now, he'll be likely at the same point.

Nope I think no matter what he does he'll be my least favourite housemate of the series, way too 'bitchy' for my liking

what will his reaction be when he finds out he's not as popular as he thought? (Being saved & Viewers choice for cake)... cant wait to see the face of realization ah

The more we feed his ego the worse he seems to get. I don't hate him or even think he should be evicted, but he gets on my tits sometimes with the detective crap and his numerous hissy fits. I think the one thing that disturbs me about him is that he tends to act like the town crier when something goes wrong with a HM. Its as if he is trying to point out their failings and needs to show them in a bad light but as soon as anyone pulls his actions up, he goes into meltdown. His game is to get rid of the weak to save himself which is a good plan but will alienate him for the finals.

He's getting a bit OTT with Wolfy tbh. I cant stand the girl but I'm feeling a bit sorry for her, nothing like kicking her when shes down. Charlie bitching about her not asking if Jackie was ok too got to me a bit. As if everyone has to give a **** about Jackies arm...

just couldnt stand how he was dancing around the bedroom singing 'dan has been saved' if only you knew haha...

him going on at wolfy makes me dislike him more, not a fan of wolfy but he would have acted the same if he had to eat it...

plus its funny how everyone has turned on wolfy since the chance feel abit sorry for her now lol

Out of the HMs still in the actual BB house he's actually one of the better ones (ie best of a poor bunch)

Callum - creepy controlling and odd
Jack/ Joe - only funny in their heads, unfuuny to almost everyone else, think they will win by 1dimensional being 'light relief@
Hazel - arrogant pr*ck tease
Daley - boring wannabe cheat
Jackie and Charlie - tedious, no fireworks, nothing
Sophie - AWOL
Sam - sweet but blatantly coasting to victory by doing nothing
Wolfy - awful baby woman smug bulls*itter

Last night he went on and on and on about Wolfy, she can't even breathe without him jumping on it! It's boring and is starting to look obsessive! But, I don't want him evicted, he's at least doing something.

The part with him being all up-in-arms with Jackie was good. I was mostly annoyed with Gina for not giving a flop about her and calling Jackie a *****.

Either way... Dan is hungry and wants some decent take-away, which is the only reason he is annoyed with Wolfie. Give the detective a break, guys. :joker:

C'mon, Woof woof, Bishop cheese is your downfall?! Appreciate it, don't go throwing it up! Ugh. Smelly cheeses are sometimes the best ones. She made a proper martyr of herself on that jail challenge. :(

Dan was brilliant, as usual. He's by far my favourite HM. I don't mind his occasional bitchiness because it isn't mean spirited. He's smart, funny, entertaining and he is basically a kind person who takes time to offer a listening ear and good advice to other HM's.
I like it that he doesn't just agree with the other person to please them (like when Daley was bitching about what Callum said to him about Hazel and Dan said maybe Callum was just concerned about him or something like that). He doesn't like Callum but he didn't take that opportunity to inflame the situation but instead tried to calm Daley down. He has a big ego (like most of them have) but he also has a big heart.

Can't stand Dan or Wolfy. but I have noticed that since the chanting (very loud chanting) of "Get Wolfy Out," on Friday night, it seems that some of her so called friends are turning against her. Dan has always made it clear where he stands regard Wolfy but after the chant he really is piling it on as if he knows that's what the public wants. I reckon he (and they) should be careful in the house, because if the public sees that most of the house are against Wolfy, then the public might just begin to support her again.

Yeah, bet he's not so keen to believe that Dexter and Gina are in a secret house when it seems the public want to give him wine and cake, arrogant prick.

Big Brother make it obvious that there's a twist going on. This isn't BB5.

Piling it on? Talk about over - exaggeration! The forums were saying exactly the same things as Dan about Wolfys mammoth spitting and vomiting lunch eating session. One of the twins was going on about her too, as were several other HM's. Funny how you didn't mention that.
Now Gina and Dexter, especially Gina were piling it on, but you didn't mention that either. :spin:

My opinion of Dan probably changes the most out of all the hm's tbh first I loved him then he got too annoying and I went off him, then over the last week or so I started finding him alright again...but after the last couple of episodes I'm right back off him again.

He is taking the Wolfy and other conspiracy stuff too far, especially with what he was coming out with in the garden the other day about Wolfy being an actor and the noms being fake which would mean he wasn't really up for eviction and so on.

I honestly think he just needs to take a step away from the conspiracies, give his brain a rest and start enjoying the BB experience before it's too late or he will regret it when he looks back.

Exactly what I was thinking Vicky..OK so that's a shame she fractured her arm but ffs was everyone in the house meant to be crying for her or what?

Charlie pissed me off a bit with what she said about Wolfy too, I have no time for her but the girl was forcing down a stinky cheese sandwich and bird spit to try pass the task but oh no Charlie she will put that all on hold to ask how Jackie is fgs.

He obviously loves the conspiracies and IS enjoying BB. He said he was loving the house so much and didn't want to go. The theme 'Secrets and Lies' and 'Detective Dan' are made for each other and make for a great story line. Dan has stepped up to the plate and therefore BB mostly show 'conspiracy' Dan in the highlights. Many HM's have said Dan is great fun but we don't often get to see him having any. The highlights show just a tiny part of their day unfortunately.

I disagree jet, if he gets out and most of his best bits are him with constant conspiracies then I think he will regret it, he has said himself in there and also before he went in that he wants to leave his policeman days behind him but yet his mind set is obviously still living in the past.

He was basically interrogating Wolfy the few times she got really upset and I think if he see's how upset that made her feel, he will definitely regret being like that, I don't think he's a nasty person and seeing how much he upset someone will end up making him feel bad.

Yes, he's already said that he feels bad for going on at Wolfy but he can't help himself. I think Dan will always be a detective at heart and he can't just shed 10 years in such a short time. I think he enjoys it but knows himself that he can go too far sometimes.
He obviously has a fun side. I wish the highlights would show it more often.

I didn't need to mention one of the twins has turned against Wolfy or indeed Gina and Dexter as it is obvious that Gina and Dexter didn't like her before the chanting but since the chanting "Get Wolfy Out" Spohie and one of the twins don't seem to be too keen on her. Dan, hearing the chanting and who already disliked her before, confirms in his mind that the public can see what he sees in Wolfy, etc.

Well as he didn't say that you can't attribute the thought to him. We don't really know what's in his mind. Maybe he just felt like the others did about her mammoth lunch session, no more, no less.

I am beginning to wonder if he fancies Hazel.

Although he was uncomfortable about the 3-way kiss with her and Daley, I actually think if you took Daley - a man surprisingly - out of the equation...

There are times when Dan seems to act like a jealous straight boyfriend when it comes to Hazel and Daley.

Yes sometimes he act like that, it could be he doesnt like sharing her attention.
