Is Dexter being hypocritical?

Has anyone else thought about this?

So, Daley has a girlfriend on the outside world. Gets close to Hazel and the public think it's not fair on Katie (his girlfriend) - which I also very much agree with. It's all bang out of order.

BUT.. Dexter also has a girlfriend on the outside world, confesses his feelings for Charlie, whether they're real or fake feelings I don't know, but it's not really clear as to how the public feel about this. Yet Dexter's conversation he had with Daley and Hazel gives me the impression he is completely against the whole idea of it.

Surely Dexter and Daley are in similar sorts of situations,yet the attention is on the 'relationship' between Daley and Hazel.

What do people think???

Ive posted all weekend the same thing ,Dexter is the last person to comment on what others are doing as ,if Charlie was desperate he would be doing the same ,hes also got a girlfriend watching the show,and lets be honest here ,what the hell has it got to do with Dexter what anyone else does? he needs to mind his own business

What she actually said was that she told him that he had a hall pass for his time in the house but that she hoped he wouldn't use it and she was testing him to see if he would. Dexter also said, when he told Hazel that he had feeling for her that he hoped he wasn't messing up his relationship with his g/f for nothing (or words to that effect)

Regardless of whether Dexter is in an 'open relationship' or a 'closed(?) relationship', I'm 90% he hasn't actually got feelings for Charlie and this is just part of his game.

Dexter was my favourite housemate until the whole 'I have feelings for Charlie' thing. I find it all so sudden and odd; I just don't think it rings true, and I'm sure there's an ulterior motive for this sudden outburst of 'feelings'. This is embarrassing to watch, and moreover, a great shame, because I think Dexter has slipped from the top of my list now. I have no favourite to win anymore - pretty much dislike the rest of them!

Not in my view he isn't. It is just Dexter being Dexter.

He maybe even doesn't like either Charlie or Hazel,it is possibly just one more of his 'inventions' or 'storylines'.
He may even just be saying he likes or has an interest in Charlie to wind up Jackie.

He is compelling to watch and I think he is a really great housemate.I've said all along, you never may likely know when he is really being serious on anything but I love hearing his stories anyway.

totally ambiguous, very smart, game for a laugh and a great story telling raconteur
hes playing the game and enjoying himself....its not the real dexy , its more like pantomime to him...whereas callum is playing it for real and too sincere, dexy is seeing it as an entertainment show and that's hwy he will be remembered....that's not to say hes insincere.....hes not a complete liar hes merely a bullsh*itter....theres a subtle difference between bulls*it and lies.....the first is often harmless and entertaining white lies....the second is unpleasant. he seems to draw the line and the housemates and viewers generally enjoy his tall tales....this is showbusiness and hes the showman
