As soon as he released her she got up off the bed and went to the other end of the room, she clearly felt scared and sensed his change from the play fighting to being aggressive.

Her response to him was only a brief one before he went to the diary room. She looked confused in the chair.

As she said, she believed he was joking but then him getting all serious followed by BB barking over the tannoy made her think.
