Doesnt shock me, unfortunately.
Hazel was called a "homewrecker" for being a single girl having a guy coming onto her, that was in a relationship. So why wouldnt she get the blame for his temper issues too?

For me where Hazel really let herself down was when she returned to the safe house, by doing that she condoned his actions and has put a ? in some people's minds, personally I would have insisted on returning to the main house, not rolled back into bed with him as if nothing had happened, she is a disgrace, and she should have been booted out with him.

I agree, I'm not sure that i'd go as far as she should of been kicked out, because i felt and you could tell she was being playful, but at no point did i feel daley was being playful, at first maybe, but dam he was creepy when he kept saying his little girl, and once he pretended to nut her after she had gone quiet and gave back the cover, he should of gone their and then. Whats your reason on why Hazel should of gone??
Jesus.
16-07-2013, 09:35 AM
In any other context, this wouldn't even be debatable, but because it's BB, and a hm people aren't keen on, suddenly there is blame on both sides?
It's absurd. Hazel deserved a warning for pulling his shorts down, but that's it.

In the context that what went on should never ever be classed as "entertainment", Hazel is a tough nut, she should have put her foot down the previous day when he was ranting on about wanting his women to be "natural", instead she simpered and preened, on the night in question she by her own admission said she was "terrified", yet she went straight back in there and if Daley is to believed, the cuddled and laughed about it, it just doesn't sit right with me there are many many women who have had to take their children to refuges to escape the type of controlling behaviour he was displaying (no make up, no talking with her friend etc),, given alot of teenagers watch this programme (how else did they get voted into the safe house), for me it is just a poor example and BB should hang their heads in not kicking him out immediately, and Hazel too for showing incredibly poor judgement in returning to him (though that may be a bit harsh!).

Thank you, I said this on another thread. She was so scared, she spent the rest of the night in the same room as him. What a load of cobblers. After that, I lost any sympathy for her

So many people all over Twitter, Youtube and even a couple of people on here appear to be defending Daley's actions. I can't help but wonder whether their reaction would be the same if "homewrecking ***** Hazel" (to quote many people!) was replaced with our own cute little Sophie. If we sat back and watched Sophie giggle away having a pillow fight with Daley and pull his shorts down, only for him to grab her by her neck and threaten her, everyone would be outraged. How dare he treat Sophie wrong like that, she didn't deserve that!
Don't get me wrong, in no way at all do I support what Hazel did and she fully deserved to get her warning. However, I don't understand at all how she "asked for it" re: Daleys throat grabbing.

Don't you know? No-one has to take any responsibility for their actions anymore, everything wrong that you do can be blamed on some external influence. Nothing is ever one's fault. I am truly afraid for the future of the country with this type of mentality being so prevalent these days.
These people are supposed to be adults. Instead we have a bunch of self-obsessed, self-entitled little brats who show disturbingly low morals and ethics. Seeing this kind of sh!t seriously makes me want to re-introduce the cane back into schools.

I can't say I'm surprised. Yesterday, I would have been surprised... but not today. Not after seeing what some people have written on this forum. I've been all the more shocked by females. Not that Hazel was 100% in the right... but no one deserves to be assaulted. Not ever. Never.
To be honest I agree with them, Hazel pulled his strings to the point where he was forced to get that angry

Hazel pulled his strings
Totally agree. She's bang out of order, and only a fool wouldn't be able to see that.
to the point where he was forced to get that angry
Absolutely disagree. He was not FORCED to get that angry, he was not forced to respond the way he did. Obviously his brain is far too small to think of a more appropriate and dignified way to respond to her actions, and that's a shame. But still, no excuse for what he did. The guy's obviously a bit simple - not the first of that type we've seen on BB.

A few weeks ago I got angry with my wife. I shouted. She shouted. We went to separate rooms. We cooled off. Things were uncomfortable for a couple of days.
At no point did I threaten to headbutt her. At no point did I grab her by the throat.
And that is in the privacy of my own home, with someone ive known for 20 years.
If daley is cabable of these things, live on TV, with millions watching, with a girl he has known for a month, that isnt his girlfriend, that he hasnt even kissed.
Enough said

Here I go again with the same thing I've said a ****ing hundred times today...
You cannot use the excuse that you were provoked into assaulting someone.
Daley is supposed to be a boxer, isn't that all about control? And yet he struck a woman and put his hands round her throat in a threatening way. And you're saying she "forced him to get that angry"? Really?

Having a look through, the majority of support appears to be from teenage girls. So its probably just the 'hez so fit' factor. Much like Conors support from teens last year.

It always amazes me... it's like women who write to men in prison or on death row, who've committed the most heinous crimes. It's kind of sad.

Which is a scary notion. But not all of his support is from teenage girls. We saw, and heard, that on BBBOTS last night.
Re my post above, I apologize I wrote quite quickly without much thought. What I meant was that yes, he's entirely in the wrong and deserved to be ejected. Violence and threatening behavior is never an option and it should by no means be condoned. That being said, it does need to be taken into account that Hazel is by no means an innocent victim in this. I believe that it would've been fair for her to be removed as well, for hitting him as well as, more importantly, violating his privacy by pulling down his pants.

Its about respect, basic human respect.
People will always revert to kind. If you have respect in you, it will come through. If you lack respect it will show.
By the way, Sophie is a blackbelt. Imagine what would have happened if he had done the same to her? But that is the thing, people like daley dont grab people like sophie by the throat. They have no problem doing it to people like hazel though, when they are alone, in the dark. After all she flirted....

Not quite my point though Cherie. I never said Hazel was innocent, I said Daley's actions are his own doing, nobody else can be blamed for that.
This thread is about Daley and I'm pointing out how people hold Hazel responsible for her own actions... and Daley's as well. Very unfair IMO.
Nothing she did warranted being booted out, they both got punishments that fit their rule breaks.

I'm so glad that most of the people here seem to agree that the Daley 'support' is disgusting & wrong. How can ANYONE turn that on Hazel? The minds of some women sometimes makes me scared sometimes, Daley literally turned into a psycho & pinned her down by her throat threatening to 'do her over' or something - yet Hazel is the bad guy? Well I'm sorry but no she isn't.
& the reason she acted normal around him afterwards is because she clearly felt awkward & in shock that what happened was actually real & not a joke (which she thought it was at first).
You can dislike Hazel for the flirting or whatever but to dislike her for what Daley did is pathetic.
