Daley could do quite well out of this, financially.

You can now see why he made no admission of having done anything wrong as regards Hazel.

He'll play this for all it's worth.

Yep. Daley is first out of the house and can claim HE is actually the victim.

Hazel can't do anything about it at the moment.

And the thing about it is, people will want to believe too, there's alot of hate out there for Hazel as it is so it shouldn't be too hard for poor lead astray Daley especially since his g/f will be by his side again, didn't take much for her to rush to his side after that interview on BOTS

women always fight for equal rights yet when something like this happens guess what they always bring up the woman card, she is as bad as he is, i can't stand women who lead men on then play the victim card.

Lead men on and then play the victim card?? What are you on about, are you saying that's it's normal for a man to put his hands around a girls throat and threaten to "nut her one" after a bit of flirting? She wasn't leading him on, I'm quite sure she would have followed through on her flirting, who expects to be threatened though? weird.

If Hazel doesn't walk soon the damage will be irreparable, bang goes her dream of multi mi££ion deals.

She's not as astute as I thought, when that tennis ball came over the wall she was convinced it was about her, touch of the guilty conscience? She should have walked that night. even demanded that they get her a cab no matter what time.

I know..utter load of bollocks. She did say it was play fighting in her initial DR visit but said at the same time that she didnt know when it turned..the star (like bb) is trying to make out she was fine at the time and made a complaint as an afterthought

Well, obviously we don't see everything and yes we know it gets edited down to s**t but I'm pretty sure that scene with Hazel in Diary Room was that night just after it happened, she was wearing the robe like she had been just after it happened and it sounded like it was just after it happened too

user104658
18-07-2013, 09:56 AM
People are baying for her blood, it's utterly sick. Even if she had said she was fine at the time (she didn't really, she was quite clear that it got too dark for her) why is it not OK fot her to later admit that she was scared? That legitimately happens all of the time! People try to rationalise things and then think "no, actually, it made me really uncomfortable".

Plus they make it sound like she went specifically to complain - in fact she only said it in response to a direct question - "did you feel intimidated". I'm pretty sure she even only said "a little bit, yeah".

So because she admitted that she was a little intimidated by being pinned to the bed by someone twice her size, when asked... all of a sudden she's guilty of setting him up? it's ridiculous.

Press and public make me sick. as usual.

In the DR her hair was up as it was the following day as I recall.

So it is just possible that what we saw was not what was recorded immediately after the incident. I'd have to rewatch it though.

this is such a joke, daley gets his big headline and KATIE IS STILL THERE!
she said it was all over in her interview and she was moving on? they both got what they came for, the money. katie didnt shed a tear at that interview. she must have been waiting outside the door for him! Daley and Hazel flirted all the time but he was the one who said he didnt have a girlfriend..I WONDER WHY?
dont get how he could say that and katie then say it was definitely on...secrets and lies!!!

It will be at least a week before Hazel is able to leave the house unless she walks, which I don't think she will do.

By then it will firmly be established in the public mind that SHE is the abuser - trying to ruin a decent man's reputation etc.

It will be very hard for her to roll that back, especially as CBB follows on directly from BB and the media will lose interest in anything she has to say.

Daley has played a blinder here and as for Katie, well she clearly didn't leave the country taking her child with her!

mmm, tbh I think even if Hazel walked today, she wouldn't be able to do much about it, people want to believe Daley over her so they will. I think she actually has more of chance of turning it around while she's still in the house, not a huge chance mind you but more of a chance!

Thought Katie would be lounging on some foreign beach by now, according to what she said.

user104658
18-07-2013, 10:43 AM
Any right minded person would not see her as an abuser. I think he still comes off badly in the daily star. A weak, pathetic, cowardly little boy too scared to own his actions, throwing a massive sulk. The fact that people are willing to side with him really bothers me. I give him the benefit of the doubt over what happened - I don't thunk he meant to scare or intimidate her.

Everything he's done since? Whining, miserable and immature. I have no respect for the guy now. Whining in the papers like a 5 year old instead of having some decorum, saying sorry and leaving it at that.

As for his girlfriend... she's either completely manipulated by him and under his thumb, or they preorchestrated the "cheating" together before he went in.

Its hardly a reputable news worthy paper, its the one people buy when all the others have sold out. The paper on my loo roll is thicker and more interesting after Ive wiped my butt with it.

What did he make £200 tops.

The only person he's mugged off is himself, he should except that the only person his angry at is
himself, for the choices his made despite being warned by 3 housemates Dexter, Gina and Callum. So his a pillock in that aspect, swallow it. The public are not stupid they know what they saw with regards to him putting his hands around Hazels throat and threatening to nut her, no amount of spill can change that. He should of taken the humble root, bad PR.

Seriously CaudleHalbard, are you that sick in the head, or you have that much hate for Hazel who is just like everybody else, she is no more evil than any of us. She has done nothing wrong, she has said nothing to flame this at all. she said how she felt in the diary room that is all and she said it how it was it started off playfully from both saids, she never smacked him if you watch it again, Daley smacked her twice, he was the one who grabbed her throat first she grabbed it back, he was the one who held her hands down and told her he would nut her :S and you have so much hate for the girl that you some how justify she had some involvment over his actions :S well what a world we live in hey, no respect for women it seems. Equal rights bullsh*t only when it suits we all know that, Real men know how to treat a woman with respect no matter what feelings you have towards them.

kate2013
18-07-2013, 02:49 PM
I dont think there are alot of people out there lapping this up, I give the public more credit than that. Hazels behaviour wasnt exactly reputable for woman, but when you see a man behave that way towards a woman, your feelings tell you its wrong, therefore only the psychopaths will think his behaviour was ok.

GiRTh
18-07-2013, 03:00 PM
Very sad and unfortunate headline. Ironically, due to BB's poor editing enough people will have not seen the entire episode and thus will believe this sh*t. If Daley's coming out with more and more and more then when Hazel comes out the public perception will already be skewed. This is only gonna complicate things even more but I suppose it the only story Daley can tell out of this unfortunate incident.

kate2013
18-07-2013, 03:00 PM
Its the Daily Star. That says it all. If Daley had of been humble and admitted fault, shared about his difficulties etc, how he plans to change he would have been unindated with interview requests. The Media know that the angle Daley is trying to sell to protect his damaged ego, simply will not sell, people are not that foolish, no sane person would find a man pinning a woman to a bed and threatening to nut her acceptable. That is the behaviour of a thug thinking his behaviour is justified, it wont work.

Tom4784
18-07-2013, 03:06 PM
Disgusting little worthless man, I hope he loses his license and is forced into some awful dead end job because he deserves nothing but the worst until he realises what his issues are and gets help.

Any woman that goes near him after this is an utter fool. If he threatens to headbutt a woman on national TV what would he be capable of without the cameras there to deter him?

kate2013
18-07-2013, 03:09 PM
I dont think the public perception will be skewed. Enough people watch the show to see what happened. Hazel will be disliked because of her own behaviour. She didnt care that Daley had a possible girlfriend. She enjoyed shoving her airbags in Daleys face with "cuddles" so she could get off on the power of seeing Daley struggle to hide his erection. Everyone in that house was uncomfortable with her behaviour. And when it all died down she admitted to Dan that she was only doing it out of boredom.Definately not a very nice woman nor one women should aspire to.

Bought the Star today and the first sentence on front page is "Big Brother schemer Hazel O’Sullivan last night amazingly claimed she was not to blame for Daley Ojuederie’s exit". And then later on it says "fans have not been taken in by the wicked minx. They have now turned on Hazel and questioned why she turned from being a flirt, who wanted to bed Daley, into an evil manipulator who sealed his fate in the house"

Unbelievable how strongly they are pushing this angle

My problem is really with how they are wording it; saying Hazel "amazingly" claimed she wasn't responsible for Daley's exit when there's nothing amazing about that claim at all, she isn't responsible. And then also blaming her for "sealing his fate in the house", calling her an "evil manipulator", and a "wicked minx".

It's not even subtle, they're just 100% blaming Hazel for everything that happened

Id hardly call The Star a Major National newspaper, its the one people buy when all the rest are sold out, theres more useful information in leaflets distributed through my letterbox.

Hazel will be fine, she'll leave sell her story to the Mirror and The Sun, get a few centre spreads in the lads magazines, she's business savvy she is no fool.

Daley will be ok to, once he gets past the anger and humiliation he has put himself through, and starts thinking straight, hopefully sorts his control issues out for his own sake, and those around him, sacks his PR who to this point if he is following their advice, are doing him no favours and will issolate him further from the public.

And we will get on with watching whatever comes next, after scrubbing the toilet, getting the hairs out the plug hole, cleaning out the washing machine draw.

It's the 5th most read paper in the country, with a greater circulation than the likes of the Times, Guardian, Indepenent etc.

According to the Daily Star, Hazel has received death threats. This seems to be based on one tweet ("Hazel, just die please" ) they have come across! Supposedly BB will be beefing up security when she is evicted.

Apparently 96% of their readers who phoned a vote line think Hazel should be ejected from the house.

I think she'd better try the Sun or Daily Mirror when she comes out! ;)

Daley could do quite well out of this, financially.

You can now see why he made no admission of having done anything wrong as regards Hazel.

Press and public make me sick. as usual.

I think you lot think way to much into it. i mean the daily star posting a headline saying there lovers and they going to meet up after i mean seriously, hazel doesn't have anyway of contacting him or him contacting her, how does that even become news :S.

I've honestly seen nothing from hazel to say she is a snake or manipulative, or an evil person, she has done nothing wrong, Daley strangled her and told her he was going to nut her, he even tried to control how much make up she wore, how does anyone see it any other way, she flirted and she would of gave it if he wanted it, she never led him on and this whole girlfriend thing, he told her that they had split up, so how is any of it her fault she didn't know the girl, Daley is just trying to cover his back and blame her. it's outrageous that a news paper actually side's with an evil twisted male.

Don't forget Daley and Hazel were competing for a prize. She saw an opportunity to reduce the competition and make herself look good - as some sort of abused martyr - in the process.

Unfortunately for her it badly backfired and hence all the Hazel-hate.

She couldn't be as obvious as that!

She willingly went back to the safe house, spent the night with Daley and got into his bed the following morning.... all recorded on camera.

Blurting out to Dan that she was "terrified" was far more subtle. Unfortunately she ruined the effect by being very chirpy and happy as a skylark a day later. Lol! :D

Yes she did, I watched that and I watched how uncomfortable she looked about it too. She got in bed gave him a quick hug then swiftly got back out and moved to the other side of the room. BB should never have put her back in there. If she had kicked up a fuss and refused to go back in, people would have been running her down even more about Playing the victim. It seemed to me from what we watched in the aftermath of it, that she looked awkward around him and unsure about how to act, that pretty much ties in with what she said about it too

BB did not put her back in there. She went of her own accord.

You could also see how relieved Hazel was when she learned her punishment was a meaningless formal warning. She fully expected to get booted out.

Anyway the voting public has delivered its opinion on the episode: eat the tarantulas Hazel.... and then put on the snake costume!! :D:D
