View Full Version : Are HMs cottoning on to Gina and Dexter's popularity

Hms seem less certain they will go (except Jackie). In fact since returning from SH, Dexter and Gina have not been seen as dead certs to go. Even Dan said the twins were eviction favories with jackie and callum. Jack told Joe in loft Gina "wasnt going anywhere", Callum said he feared dexter will be saved ahead of him and arch nemisis Hazel has been trying to make sense of Gina's enduring survival. It won't come as a complete shock if Gina and Dex stay. EXCEPT for Jackie :joker:

A tennis ball was thrown into the garden.
The housemates know that Gina is favourite to win.
The housemates who think they can win (Sam/Twins/Sophie/Dan) will be out to get Gina.
Sam and Twins were interrogating Gina on live feed.
Sam said Gina and Dexter were evil together.
Sam is a snake.

Considering there was ANOTHER *****ing tennis ball thrown over last night with something like "Gina is the Favourite to Win" written on it i think they might be finally figuring it out!

I think this week's eviction will hopefully send the message home for any of them that still haven't realized their popularity.
I think Dexter's still getting more popular all the time. There seems to be a lot of love and support for him on the internet and even on BOTS now which i think is great. The majority of the housemates have been so determined to demonize him right from the start and it's good to know that whatever they might think of him and Gina it's still us who decide who stays or goes and time and time again we've kept both of them in there and they've usually been the safest in all the evictions!

Dexter and Gina all the way!!!!

Dexter and Gina need to re-bond if they are to survive. They'll both be up for eviction next week if they survive on Friday.

Dexter and Gina will be in the final 5,I have little doubt as to that unless they really go off the rails in the next lhalf of the series.

I still think it is a genuine distrust from the other housemates that makes them keep nominating them so although they may still get nominated over others, they will be going nowhere except to the final and deservedly so too.

I don't think Dexter is going to reach the final - nominating Gina was a big mistake.

He had good reasons. Gina has been slagging him off to the others behind his back. She showed him no loyalty.

Any examples of that Vanessa? She did agree with Charlie that Dexter fancied Hazel and did think he was game playing in regards to admitting he had feelings for Charlie but that's more to do with the 'girl code' than being out and out malicious.

Since he left the SH he's flown up the arse of Daley/Charlie/Hazel. Trying to ingratiate himself into that group.

He outright blamed Gina for every decision made in the safe house which was a total lie and instead of asking Gina about the Daley incident he instead slagged her off to the group.

For me they are 3 great personalities.

She was looking out for Charlie because she knew he was playing a game especially after his comment about going in for the kill (regarding Charlie).

Like I said, girl code. She's not buying his feelings for Charlie.

And she wasn't alone in thinking that lets be honest. Most people were like "wtf, since when?"

The Daley incident was an honest mistake. Check out the WHATM thread on here and DS for that night. Alot of posters thought that was what Daley said. We have the luxury of being able to play back the conversation, Gina didn't.

Not in a malicious way though. Not many people buy into his claim that he fancies Charlie and the Daley convo was an easy mistake to make. It was made by half the people reporting it on forums at the time too.

Dexter was malicious. He lied about Gina being responsible for every nasty decision made in the SH and the Daley incident could be cleared up if he had the decency to ask Gina.

Well i was asking why you brought up Callum?
Callum had nothing to do with Gina talking to Charlie.

I think most girls would tip off another girl if they thought they were been played, Charlie had already sussed out Dexter & Gina confirmed.
Charlie has made her mind up but it hasnt stopped her hanging around with Dexter.

Charlie has definitely got a soft spot for Dexter. If he would stop being so snaky and duplicitous he may have stood a chance, more than Callum.

Jackie!!!!
Day 36: Jackie gives Dexter the seal of approval

Are Dexter's charms finally wearing off on Jackie? After many attempts to get on her good side, it seems Mummy Travers is starting to see the self-proclaimed 'playboy' in a better light.
"I like Dexter. He's a sweetie... He's just a lost soul," she told Charlie in the garden. She even added that she hopes to meet up with him in London when they get out of the House.
But what's sparked this new fondness for the guy who she said has 'no chance' with her daughter?
"He's broken down the initial ridiculous game plan and now he's becoming his real self," she said, reiterating that she is very fond of the new Dexter.
And she's even started to worry about who will look after him when he leaves the confines of the Bungalow, stating that "It'd be nice if he met a nice girl..."
Hmm, we have one in mind... *ahem* Charlie Travers. You never know, it still could happen.

No, Jackie is being shrewd. She's *finally* realised he's been saved 3 times by public, about to be 4 and knows constantly slagging him off won't do her any favours. Jackie wants to stay (don't believe her I wanna leave claptrap), so is changing her tune.

Having said that she does have 'banter' with Dexter whereas Callum annoys her more so she' probably prefers Dexter to Callum. Also Charlie is desperate to revive her music character so a showmance with media savvy Dexter won't harm her getting column inches in Daily Star, Star mag etc.

I said yesterday (Judi James thread) that Jackie bas always had a clear soft spot for Dexter, she's never disliked him just not trusted him. That's true of all of the houemates really - they all seem to quite like him as a character, but he openly admits to scheming and playing games so they don't trust him. He's playing games less and less and so they'reall starting to soften. He got less noms than ever this week and the ones he did get weren't really negative in the comments.

Poor old Callum on the other hand... Jackie really doesn't like at all. it's not a trust thing, she just clearly dislikes him as a person... he grates on her.

Being vocal about softening to Dex though... may well be a tactic to save herself from eviction. She has been pretty negative about EVERYTHING for a few weeks and must know that doesn't translate to public popularity.

Dan started softening on Dexter after he'd been saved twice, and more when he was voted into the safehouse. Jackie it's not been until she's up. Shoes their motivations I guess - Jackie just wants to stay S long as she can so is avoiding eviction votes, Dan is looking to win so needs to play the long game and keep fans on side throughout. That said, I don't think Dan ever really had anything against him, just didn't know what to make of his tactics.

He has turned Gina's fans against him. Ginxster needs to re-unite.

He shouldn't have nominated for Gina at this point but the fans from both housemates have got to see beyond this, the only way both of them can reach the finals is if the fanbases stick together for 3-4 more weeks and then vote to win, fair and square.
