Could Gina winning be bad for the show?

If you used to watch Big Brother and was thinking about getting back into it..

You would first learn that a woman who claims to live off 10,000 pounds a week, got in a fight on the first night and has spent a vast majority of her time in the house being rude has ended up winning because she is the most entertaining..

I mean, how bad does that sound on paper.

If a second newspaper was to write an article on the show after the finale, this is how it would be worded and I think it would be awful for the show.

Its down to the voting public in the end, they are watching it and know of her financial situation, so doubt very much it would be damaging to the show...
Its a bit like saying shes rich already so she shouldnt be allowed to win....
If the public think she is worthy of winning then fair play to her....
Celebrities get paid a fortune for being on the show and no one complains there....

At least its money she has earnt and not an allowance that mummy gives her.

The fact that someone has money or not should make no difference. Wolfie had no money...but we did not keep her in on a pity vote..it works both ways.

Gina or Dexter winning would be great for the show. It would mean being a fence -sitter, nicey nicey and flying under the radar a la Sophie and Sam no longer guarantees victory. Too many HMs follow this behaviour and sail through to finals but add NOTHING to show. What story-liines have Sam, Sophie really been in?

Gina or Dexter winning would mean new HMs would not be able to predict a template for a winner and therefore HMs would have to rely on personality.

Also I think Gina and Dexter are a lot nicer than some of the others. When Gina returned to the house, she didn't make a bee-line to slag off Hazel to Daley, he sought her out. She showed compassion to Callum and kindness to Wolfy. Dexter is genuine towards Daley and patient with cow Jackie, who I would have told to ******* off by now.

yes I agree....shes been selfish, self centred, obsessed on appearance, attention seeker, insulting, very little thought or consideration for others, greedy.....and shes one of the better housemates lol

I think shes rude and blunt not as cruel as the likes of sallie, but still she takes too much pleasure in insulting people just to get attention and air time
she has made me laugh a few times and some of her opinions hold water.
so this may save her.

I read in the daily star that Gina is a liar and lives on a council estate and has never stayed at the savoy and that she was in a girl band for a bit because all she wants is to be famous, but she got kicked out 3 months in and the whole poshness is just an act, has anyone else read or know about this???

I half agree about the quieter ones winning, but Ill hold my opinion as BB simply haven't shown sophie , she may be hilarious who knows. nice people can be both honest but also kind and funny too.....gina doesn't have the all round qualities for me

I agree, I think she is accidentally hilarious sometimes and she is fun to watch when shes not being all the words you called her in your first paragraph.

But I can't imagine a person who isn't already a BB fan feeling the same way. I think they'd be pretty disgusted at what BB has turned in to.

Its a shame everybody (bar you) is talking about themselves (again) and nobody is answering the OP which asks how a casual/ex viewer would feel about this.

Yes I read it ,seemed more the truth than the bs she kicks out ,her accent slips when she forgets ,and her boyfriend is a right chav ,I cannot imagine him melting into the background at the Savoy ,with his back to front baseball cap and street talk

Dan, Dexter or Gina will win. Everyone else is peripheral. The person who deserves to win it, is the one you watch it for, the one that if they were removed would make the show not worth watching.

I think it would be bad for the show if one of the fence sitters were to win like Sam for example. It pretty much would come across as "be nice and quite to win the prize" and for the record I think Sam seems like a nice guy but it's been weeks and weeks and we know nothing about him.
