BB6 is terms of just clear entertainment
BB5 is the best all round, everyone brought something, possibly the only series where that is true

BB10 deserves a honorable mention too.

2009 which was BB10 I think?

Best HMs by a mile, shame C4 had all but given up putting any effort in at that stage or it could have been the best Series

BB6 (2005) and if anyone else says differently they are lying. It had everything from different cultures, races, ethnicities to different opinions and different backgrounds and everything was just perfect.

BB5 every HM was 100% brilliant even the less strong ones. Stands out were Ahmed, Victor, Michelle Bass, Jason, Marco, Nadia and Kitten who did more in 5 days than most do in 10 week. Next question

there's no beating BB6 (I know I say this with regards to everything  but in terms of housemates it's indisputable)

Yeah thinking about it, BB10 and BB6 had very similar characters, alot were enthic, alot were firey, alot were just generally mean people, alot were just down right insane. The difference between the two series was C4 hated the show by that point, and in my opinion were deliberately running the show into the ground so no one would dare pick it up when the contract ran out. Thats why C4 were so pissed at C5 when they picked it up.

BB5 had Becki and BB6 had Orlaith Kinga and Eugene haha

Becki still gave the judis kiss which cause a great meltdown from Michelle. Becki did more than here bit considering she was only in there for 2 weeks
BB5 was certainly no filler.

BB6 on the other had had some background characters, no where near as bad as other seasons but still i cannot stand the deadwood.

In terms of likability, 1 and 5 definitely. Everyone was enjoyable except for Craig, Dan, and Marco.

WHAT!
Shell ran through the garden naked, cried dressed as a bride and had quite a few anger fits!
Stuart got the first shag in the house, told stories of team handsome and had over sized cowboy hat!
Both did much more that Mary, Eugene, Orlaith and Vanessa combined.

Definitely BB6, all series had filler but BB6 only had one filler HM (Eugene), everyone else were in storylines.

BB6 and BB10 had the best line-ups.

BB6 wins hands down because every single housemate delivered. It was the most diverse cast ever (4 black people, 3 gay people, people of all different ages and backgrounds). I don't believe there was a single boring housemate, except for maybe Eugene and Vanessa but even they contributed to some extent. Every single housemate had a strong, individualistic personality which is what made it so interesting.

BB10 was also a fantastic group due to it's diversity and plethora of great housemates and interesting personalities.

I also think BB5, BB9, and BB13 had notably great casts.

Worst cast ever was BB11. They got it SO wrong.

I haven't seen BB1-BB4, except for 1/4th of BB3.

yeah Hira, Cairon, Sophie, Kris, Saffia, David, Charlie, Rodrigo...

SUCH ENTERTAINMENT

Rodrigo was very entertaining in my opinion, and David and Charlie were quite entertaining as well.

Hira is extremely underrated, she was only in the house for such a short period of time but I found her unintentionally hilarious.

Cairon and Saffia brought some arguments.

Kris was whatever.

But don't you dare diss Sophie. No she wasn't involved in arguments, but she was extremely likable and fun and always involved.

2, 5 and 10... other people seem to have mentioned them a lot, too.

I actually think the "cast" last year was great as well, but the overall show didn't flow very well. The year before was pretty good, too. Actually looking back on it this year is sort of lame... ... :(

Funnily enough though my two all time favorite Big Brother moments aren't in my top 3 series.

#2) BB13 Conor "stealing" the 50k from Luke S. I rewound this about 10 times. Luke S's reaction is absolutely priceless... the little whimper... the stifled tears. I absolutely hated Conor throughout the entire series but it completely melted away to a mild dislike because of a few seconds of brilliance: "I thought you wanted to go to the final! :(" - "This is for me 'n' the missus man". It made my year.

#1) BB9. Mikey getting hit on the neck. This is probably the best thing I've ever seen on television, it's just sublime...

Haven't a clue why BB7 is doing so well, as usual - :bored: The only housemate who stood out was Nikki, the rest of them were forgettable. People need to get over the nostalgia for that year.

Realistically,

BB9 > BB10 > BB5 > BB6 > BB14 > BB13 > the rest.

BB6 & BB5 both had great housemate selection.

I think neither had any 'fillers'
as in BB6 I found Vanessa/Eugene/Orlaith all entertaining in their own right, despite them being called 'bores'

And in BB5, Shell was the only disappointment really, although Becki was very dislikable she did produce the Judas Kiss & drama

And even she had that episode where she argued with Victor, then the other one when she jumped in the pool whilst it was raining outside - then that time she ran about the garden with a lawnmower with her minge hanging out.

The 2004 Bore did far bore than the cast of BB11 put together.

Yeah, she had some great moments too, that night where she argued with Victor got him evicted though, but it was a great episode
