What are people's thoughts on Jack & Joe reacting to their mum and dad going in as part of the task, and the others that had family members go in resisted the temptation.

Should jack & joe have ignored their parents ?

Yes, they should have. What makes them so special? :nono:

I haven't actually seen the episode yet so I don't know to what extent they reacted.

But if I was having a bad week or a bad couple of days then I reckon I'd react and hug. I wouldn't care about the consequences. Obviously if I wasn't having a bad day/week I probably wouldn't

Yes they should have ignored them but I didn't agree with the family members going in and being able to actually speak directly to them anyway.

I wouldn't blame anybody for reacting in a similar way. Its only a week of food they're gonna miss out on.

Oh come on! Gina could have done way better than them!

I don't know how well I would've coped if I was in there and had family go in... I think I would've been alright in the other situations, I can block out surroundings quite easily. Great task though. :)

Yes, they should have ignored their parents; their parents would have understood that they needed to prioritize their desire for a huge shopping budget, I mean the other HMs. Their fails could have resulted in the task loss. They didn't even try to remain still and silent. If they couldn't go without speaking to and hugging their parents, they shouldn't have applied to BB.

Callum was on a task,it was him that had to win it by not letting the others know he was in on it. He won them a picnic and a game of football.

They should have definitely stuck to the task, even though they are young it still wasn't fair. I mean Dexter hadn't seen his mother for ages and he coped with it, it definitely was not fair.
