Was there any need to put the fat part in the title?

It defines them. There have been quite a few twins on BB over the years and these ones are distinctively fat. Hence why I refer to them as the fat twins.

i dont see any other twins in there?
could of just been ''Dan is competely right about the twins''
would of saved some time too because it's less words

As I said elsewhere - they're obviously validated to a great extent at home.......and now that's everybody else's problem.

I agree with you, and what's wrong with calling them 'fat', which is what they are. You could have been much more uncharitable by using other suitable adjectives such as thick, gormless, irritating, desperate, vacuous, boring etc etc!

Incidentally, I generally refer to them as Tweedeldum and Tweedledumber!

Yep, comes across as you have a problem with big people by making it a focal point of the thread title. The horrible twins would have done just as well.

Believe me, I could easily find worse words to describe those ghastly fat twins. They are getting off lightly when I refer to them as the fat twins.

I am likely going to surprise some here as I don't think he is totally right as to them.

I don't care for them but they are 18 and you are an adult at 18, you cannot compare a 13 year old son to 2 18 year olds who you have normally nothing to do with in your life.
They are also right to stand by opinions they have just as Dan has for himself too. As to respect, well respect has to be earned,it is not just a right.

Dan is older, only by 15 years, I would respect people older than me, if they were right and had earned my respect.
The Twins do come across as arrogant and argumentative for silly reasons at times but it doesn't always remove the validity of all the points they raise.
The way they say it does at times though. That is where they fall down but if they genuinely don't respect someone for whatever reason then they are justified in saying so.They are in a house as equal housemates.

Whether they are fat, thin, round or oblong whatever though, doesn't come into the equation for me, they are people and I never judge people on anything more than how they actually act towards others in the main.

Excellent post. I don't like the twins, but Dan needs to learn that the expression "Show respect for your elders" has nothing to do with how those boys treat him. They are all adults and all on equal footing. If he wants respect from someone it has to be earned.

Thank you. I totally agree with this. He's "been a policeman and seen terrible things." My response to this would be so the hell what? The fact that he says it in an extremely annoying, whiny voice doesn't help matters either.

Dan is spot on - they are a couple of obese fcuckwits with no respect for others and little life experience.

Someone who keeps hammering on about how much respect they should be getting doesn't deserve any in my honest opinion.

Anyone who verbally demands respect, is usually unworthy of it.

I think they do respect him in the fact they are generally polite & courteous to him but at times they disagree with his opinions & will say when they think he is in the wrong.

The twins are just being 18 year old, immature who think they no everything, most 18 year olds are worse, they probably were wrapped up in cotton wool most of there life, leave them alone.

On the whole respect side of things, my personal view is that, i give everyone respect to begin with, they either get more respect from me, or they lose the respect, Jackie I have no respect for, she shouts her mouth off at things what aren't worthy of, and she doesn't know how to let things go, just because there not to her standard, someone needs to say welcome to the real world love the world doesn't revolve around you. Dan is a strange one, he can be quite sly behind peoples backs, but still have respect for him tho.

Didn't they say nobody had seen her wash her hair since she'd been in the house?

I don't think there are always clear rights or wrongs, and Dan shouldn't think he knows everything or believe he deserves respect. Dan is too far up his own backside, I for one can't stand him, but sadly he stands a good chance of winning.

Hopefully Dan will manage to knock them down a peg or two. He's handles them very well, but there will be a point if they hang around too much longer.

Which twin was it who was arguing with Dan about the washing up, calling Dan immature over and over whilst engaging ridiculous playground arguing tactics at the same time.

When Dan said "unbelievable" and the twin immediately snipes back "yeah i know you are" like a primary school child, just to give one example.

Whether you agree with Dan wanting respect or not, I still think its the twins with the problem because they just don't understand what he is trying to get across to them - like when he says in that same argument that they have so much still to learn, and then start saying how they don't need anyone to teach them anything and they will learn whatever on their own.

I do agree they are only acting like typically arrogant teenagers with ridiculously little life experience and am willing to cut them a little slack for that reason, I can certainly remember a whole bunch of mega cringeworthy examples of me acting in a similar manner at around 16-17, *BUT* once again they throw away this goodwill by repeatedly banging on about how they think they are such mature 18 year olds.

I'm gutted BB won't do a double eviction tonight and get them out of the way along with Jackie because that is the one thing I can imagine could possibly make them take a step back and want to work out what it is they did wrong, and so learn from the experience...

... or maybe more likely, they would sit sulking at Emma talking about how there is no justice in the world because they were thrown out instead of Dexter, and it's the publics loss missing out on their "funny" antics for another month...

oh, and about the use of the word fat - I understand some people find it distasteful and there certainly are 100 other criticisms that can be levelled at the twins without resorting to their obesity - but some people find that obesity distasteful too and I think they are entitled to that opinion as well, afterall, to a large degree, they choose to remain overweight, have shown no signs of wanting to change that aspect of their appearance, so shouldn't be surprised if some people are vocal that they find them disgustingly overweight... for me though it is their arrogance, selfishness and overall attitude that is most offensive.

When someone (or in this case, 2 someones) is never told no by their parents, someone finally saying it to them is a shock to the system. They have no idea how to process it, let alone deal with it maturely. The whole family should be ashamed for how they come across, not just the twins or just their parents.

Going on the fact the mother kept insisting on getting a hug despite obviously knowing full well it was completely against the point of the task, I don't think she is particularly mature or good at taking no for an answer either!

I do really wonder if they are truly clueless about all the bad feeling towards the twins on-line, or if they just feel everybody else is wrong and their boys are obviously really very funny, or if they actually didn't want to start mentioning anything that might make the boys start to panic .. If I was their parent I would have seized on the opportunity to tell them they needed to stop acting childish and arrogant if they wanted to make it to the final, so I'm thinking they just have no idea!

When they were revealing the number of fails from inside the remote control and the twins were saying "please be 25" etc... it was just beyond ridiculous, most of them must have been because of the twins surely and I never expected it to be anywhere near as high as 33 allowed, how could they be so selfish? And so many people saying its understandable as they are only 18 but to me they acted like 5 year olds ...

I didn't only sign up here to moan about the twins but they do annoy me enough that I have voted for the first time ever for this eviction !
