So, Dexter can change, say anything he wants, however negative about her and he's "a little lost puppy"!

Callum remains the devil for having invented some typically OTT BB video bullsh!t to get in the house.

Get Jackie out...of the BBBOTS studio!

Yep, but Dexter really held back in regards to Jackie even then.

Nope never said it was,It's up to Jackie what's "ok",Strange how Dexter can say or do anything and she lets him off with it but she hates Callum for doing nothing really wrong at all.Seems once she's made her mind up then that's it,In her head she's right.Dexter's rep is much worse than Callums but it just does'nt fit in with how she wants things to be

I think its because Cal has catagorically declared Charlie is out of his league and been a bit needy with her. All Callum really has to do is realise all the good qualities he has that are attractive to women. He is a great dancer, masseur, a bit cheeky and has saved people's lives!

Also Dexter is ridiculously Asexual in the house. His attempts at chatting up Hazel, Jemima, Sallie and Charlie have had the combined sexual energy of a potatoe. If he is ACTUALLY good with women he must be fiercely loyal to his GF!

Dexter is much slimier than Callum. Nothing Dexter has done has been genuine and he's miraculously pulling together all the key components of past winners. Amused that the house are lapping it up, but feel no warmth towards the toerag. Callum's inoffensive as he seems to be a schmoozer, which goes against the Big Brother vogue of "being real", which I now take as code for being offensive, loud and self-obsessed. Callum's not going that way which is refreshing. For example when Sophie was slagging off Dan, and he walked in, she shut up and changed the topic. Then when she remembered Big Brother was watching and that you've GOT TO BE REAL to be liked, she awkwardly reraised the topic to say she was talking about him. When Callum was stating he couldn't stand Dexter, Dexter walked in asking if they were talking about him, and Callum said no. And as soon as Dexter walked out, Callum resumed - a much more natural response.

Not liking people and discussing it with people you trust isn't necessarily btchy. It's acyually quite natural and I doubt anyone has not done it. If I hate X, I do not owe X anything in terms of sitting down and discussing it, unless I particularly want to. I find it quite self-important when people either a) demand you sit down with them whilst they tell you what they hate about you, or b) demand you tell them what you think about them. I guarantee none of the husemates really know what Dexter really thinks of them.

Dexter sucks up to Jackie and she falls for it, simple as that. His heartfelt and emotional declaration of love for Charlie was about as sincere as a politician's apology. He sees Charlie as a potential OK magazine cash-in and nothing more, he made his tactics clear in the second week when he was advising everyone on how best to make money from the show. I don't get the love for him.

I think the difference between Dexter and Callum is that it is now clear to most of them all that Dexter is a storyteller but a good and virtually harmless one.

Callum, has a dark side, he is very hard to work out and does have some uncomfortable ways with people, particularly Charlie with his odd, and ininvited often, stroking of the hair or head massaging.
That is likely what Jackie is very unsure of and not happy with as to him, whereas she has worked Dexter out a bit moreand seen he is by and large likely harmless if you take most of what he says with a pinch of salt.

I myself, would rather spend time in the company of Dexter whereas I don't think I would want to be around Callum very long, his explanations and odd way of making a point come across as insincere and uncalled for most of the time.
Especially his getting at Dexter now at every chance when he talks to others, like when talking to Sam for instance.

Dexter will suck up to anyone who he thinks will help him get to where he wants to go. Charlie is his target at the moment, he thinks she is popular so we get the fake feelings for her.

You don't need to "get it", people have free choice and can like who they want, same as you.

Seconded! I would actually quite like to meet Dexter.

Callum fills me with indifference.
